Well its does matter if a person is normal or not...cuz look if there's an accident then we all know tht ranvir knows how to avoid a danger or control himself in a way so tht he can be safe...but alekh doesnt know the safety rules at all! specially the safety rules towards himself...when a danger comes the 1st thing everybody shud do is to save themselves...then they will be able to save others...which ranvir knows but alekh doesnt! vasu is still treating alekh like a 8 year old kid & its normal since she knows alekh doesnt have tht much knowledge bout the world & so on...its like if your relative & his child was walking on the road...then obviously u wud try to hold the child's hand since the older person knows how to handle themselves...i m sure if both of these brothers were normal then vasu wudnt have said neither of their names😆

accident toh sab k liyeee same hai naa....accident ranvir jaise insaan k liyee n alekh jaise insaan k liyeee same hii hoga naaa,jabh kii dono ek hii car mai hai,and vasu ko yaa baat pata bhii hai....aur pher,acccident ho raha hai,aise mai koi agar janta bhii ho ki how to save himself,pher bhi accident to ho hii jata hai naa,agar yee reason hai ki vasu iss liyee ranvir ka naaam nehi liyaaa,to pher kya kahoo,it doesnt make any sense naa....i agree wid sanihaa,jabh ek hii car mai hai,tabh dono ki life will be in danger naa...😊

I completely agree with you guys...It's always Alek and Sadhana that has any important in this house...I mean Ranvir has made some really huge sacrifice no one ever appreciates him or ragini...and even today Vasu was like you should go to the meetings because you are the one who has to handle this business after all...what does that suppose to mean?? I mean both the son's should be treated equally!! I know Mamiji is wrong but I think her worries to some extent were not wrong...because Vasu will never change!! I want Ranvir and Ragini to be in the positive light instead of same old sadhana and alekh...its like they are the only lead's of the show and I disapprove strongly!!

@Blue: when was it ? Have we forgotten how badly Vasu treated Sadi all this time ? Does Alekh has any say in the business matters ? If they get any importance now its only because Sallekh are the elder son and bahu of the family. In all Indian families only this tradition is followed.

@Orange: What did he sacrifice, office position, a party or bank balance ?? Since when doing something for your brother is called a "Sacrifice" .How could he have sit quietly if he knows someone is after Alekh, It was Alekh who pursuaded Vasu for RagVir marriage.

They all love each other equally. There is no concept of tera-mera between them.

Vasu loves both her sons. Alekh needs her more now to get normal. Is there anything wrong with this ?

You are right in Indian Culture Eldest son is given all the importance...but isnt that wrong and unfair? The world is moving forward and since Vasu is no village bell she should do the same...and to be honest if both the son's were treated equally than Vasu wouldn't just care about Alekh's welness she screamed Alekh's name like 4 times and not even once she said Ranvir!!

And to answer your second part...Ranvir jeopradized his relationship with Ragini to help Alekh out which isn't a sacrifice on a brother's part...but when you are always put in the bad light in front of your family...like for instance his parents were mad at him and vasu was super mean to him...even decided to kick him out..no one does that to their own child...

you don't see it...but there definately is a difference in the way Vasu treats both her sons.

P.S. I am not here to fight with you or anything I was just staing my opinion regarding this topic so don't take it personally and get offended.

I think that Vasu loves them both equally but is more protective of Alekh because of his previous condition. Actually, the whole family has a soft spot for Alekh, even Ranvir -- so i'm not surprised that Vasu called out Alekh.
It's just instinct to be worried about the more helpless person.
