Chotti Ma wanted revenge from Vasu for all the ill treatment she got from her so that is why did kept Aalekh in this mental state but how about property, power.
I am confused now. Seems like if Ranvir & co. didn't try to find the culprit this would go on for ever. How would have chotti ma got the power of Badi malkin? Was she plannig to stay in disguise all her life?

I think both.. but she is greedy for money and status, I believe. Even Vasu has these qualities, but she knows her limits.

no i think she thought about naveen her son since her husband has no power

so she wanted security and power

she doesn't want naveen to face the problem or insecurity that she faced she isn't greedy

but how was she gonna get it if Ranvir and others hadn't exposed her. She was doing anything on that front. She was just busy making Aalekh mad
