I dont believe choti maa so easily spilled the truth..she finally took her revenge on turning sons against Vasu..she is d main culprit am sure..may be vasu knew her as killer and was standing with ambika in dadajis room but alekh saw only vasu frm behind and didnt notice ambika...by the time they came out he fell from the stairs..vasu kept quite as Ambika might have kept some of her secret and threatened her to reveal to all if she told abt ambika..May be ranveer is vasu's illegal son..with someone else not ranveers and this chotimaa knew..

and in this way both the ladies r involved in covering up...ambika told abt vasu as she thought that vasu will never say abt ranveer to all and thus she will keep quite and wont go against ambika and no one will believe her what ever she says..chotimaa is a very clever khiladi..
