@ Rahm, I felt if my sis was in the hospital I wud have sat near her, held her hand just to console her. Becoz that touch is enough to tell her I am dere for you. Only Mamaji went near. Sadana and Ragini are so close they always hold hands when they are together.

May be my expectations was too high.

I agree that there aren't many emotions shown between Ragini-Sadhana and Ragini-Ranvir....more or less Ragini doesnt' have a lot of dialouges these days...my conclusion


1. They are making way for future story line. We read that there will be conflict between Ragi-Sadi and RagVir in the future....and perhaps by not showing too much emotions between these, the creatives are setting a base...
2. She is too busy with Jhalak, and do not have time to do very important scenes....She also looks dull and tired in many of the scenes she is present...the glow is not there.....

Reg your 1st conclusion I dont think it is a very good. They wont make Sadi & Ragi at loggerheads. May be Ragvir but between the sister nah!!
2nd conclusion, I dont think Parul is a such a person who will neglect her work and bidaai is more imp to her than JDJ. My POV

Ragini was standing closest to the bed (she was crying) and Sadhana was looking around. She then started talking to Aalekh so how could Ragini interrupt that? No one interrupted until Sadhana looked at Mamaji and shook her head no to tell Mamaji not to cry. The doctor came in shortly after that and told everyone to leave the room and let her rest. So you see, when was she supposed to grab her hand?

i read this whole thread and was wondering why noone mentioned that parul is also busy with jhalak, but then i came to your post and thought yes! someone mention it.

of course bidaai is important for parul, the show has made her glow and she got sooo much recognition.

and i agree with omshanti, that ragi and sadi have had thier own ups and downs. i think ranvir is more concerd bout his bro at the moment and ragi is supporting him wholeheartdly.
and ragini is the youngest bahu so she is less likley to get more importance, and sadhna is the oldest bahu, and cos of they way alekh is, she gets that importance, and atleast ragi gets more importance than the gud for nothing avni.
and i agree with rahm, its more logical choti maa stays at the hospital cos she is older so if anything happened she would knw what to do, but ragini may get get panicky because she is sooo close to sadi.
and also, ragi loves sadhna but mamaji has a sense of responsibilty towards sadha cos he promised her dad he would take care of her, and like he probably has a feeling that sadi married alekh for him and his house and he doesn't want anyore sadness for her due to him or their family members.

just my opnion no offence to anyone.

Sadhna has gotten nothing ever

Ragini always got everything

from a mother to a normal husband....to love & everything

I really feel we need to stop these comparisons now

Also PArul is doing JDJ.....thats why her scenes are less too
