The Bidaai team returned from Kerala four days ago. The cast spent eight days there shooting for a honeymoon sequence of the newly married characters Ragini and Ranbir. We caught up with Kinshuk Mahajan, who plays Ranbir on the show.
Kinshuk says, "It was a nice experience. We had a very chilled out schedule and would pack up by six in the evening everyday as it gets dark early there. After that, we would go for herbal massages or just hang out. The hotel would close at 10.30 so almost everyday in the evening we would have a party in either the boys or the girls room."
The Bidaai team stayed at a place called Munnar first, which is located near Cochin. Kinshuk adds, "It was like living in paradise. It was just amazing. In one spot, you get to see the confluence of the river, the beach and the lake. I have been to many places but believe me, I have never seen such a place. There is no comparison, the backwaters were so nice. The trip was sponsored by our channel and we enjoyed it a lot."
When asked about his honeymoon sequence, he says, "Off screen, Parul and I share a good rapport so it was not a big deal for us to shoot for a honeymoon sequence. Further, our show is a family show so there won't be any bold scenes as such. In the future too, I will not cross my limit and act out any scene that would look vulgar."
Talking about what he brought home with him from Kerala, the actor says, "We bought oils for massages, spices, handicrafts, jute bags, kathakali face and lamps for my temple at home. I spent almost 25 thousand on shopping."
Kinshuk Mahajan, Parul Chauhan, Sara Khan and Angad Hasija went to Kerala for the shoot. They also celebrated V-Day there, with the production house providing dinner and romantic music for them on the evening on February 14.
