Thanks Pinks, exactly what I was trying to say. The mirch, masala, and tadka of bidaai lies in its negative characters... and I'd much rather prefer it that way then see them all turn nice.

Yes, her expressions seemed genuine with Ragi but she herself states her intentions are only about revenge....so where does the concern for Ragi or Ranvir come in???

I'm honestly confused by Malti today.....going by the history of her character though, it would make more sense that she's doing this for her own motives.....it is too much of a change to expect that the woman who was passing such mean spirited remarks about Ragini's appearance and purposely sabotaged her earlier rishtas is now all sappy over her :S

I completely Agree with you Yaar,we Have wiat and watch to see Malti's Concern towards Ragvir and Genuine and Still she wants to Take Revenge From Avni & Naveen Or She is doing It Only to Take Revenge Without any Feeling Towards Ragvir

i reallly lyk the nice malti she is really caring and considerate, after all ragini does need someone to help her after her pyaari sadhna got married, so i think i lyk malti being this way. i ddint lyk her being mean cause vineet is so nice and he dont deserve such a mean wife!

Although malti's always been selfish and manipulative, I've never thought her purely 'negative'. Sure she has streaks of evil moments but I can understand why she would want to be there for ragini now.

first, revenge from avni and Ragi's sacrifice to bring Vineet back. Malti's shock at the idea of losing Vinu has prolly made her want to be nicer to those who really care about her and Vinu and not ppl like Avni/Naveen.

Also, the reason Vinu fell into this problem is also largely her fault:

She told him to sign the 'apology letter'
She convinced him to not tell his parents about working with the Rajvanchs and I think she even tried to stop him when he found out about being framed and wanted to tell his dad everything
If it wasn't for her scheming Vasu wouldn't have found out about Ragvir the way she did and resort to get back at the Sharmas by putting Vinu in jail

Although she isn't a saint Malti isn't heartless either. Even though she's motivated by revenge, I guess she's making up for lost time with Ragini. I'd like to see how long she stays this way b4 something else sets her off. It was sweet watching her interaction with Sadhna/Alekh and Alekh accusing her of cheating!

The beauty of the show is none of the characters r Black they are grey and have their own flaws which makes masses to related with character atleast in a way or too..Malti still confuses me but as long as she is playing"cupid" wont mind... her scenes with Aalekh were totally hilarious and loveable!!
