In Kartik's New House:
Shubh touches Ga & Pa's feet and asks them to bless him. His air ticket slips and falls from his pocket. Anusha picks it up before him, realizes what it is but does not say anything and gives it back to Shubh. Shubh a little flustered leaves saying he has to make a phone call.
Adi's House:
Adi & Namrata are sleeping in their room. Namrata is asleep, Adi is awake having doubts about Namrata & Kartik. Recalls his conversation with Namrata telling him Kartik is his past, then Parikshit's dad telling him about Kartik. He again has doubts about Kartik's sincerity.
In Kartik's New House:
Shubh is in a dilemna whether to go to Dubai or not. Gets a phone call from the goondas. He asks him if Shubh is ready to leave for Dubai. Tells him again that if he doesn't then his folks will be harmed. Shubh gets scared and says he will go and not to harm his parents.
In the family room, Kartik returns from work, tells Ga & Pa about winning the contract, they are happy. Anusha calls him the only laayak beta. Shubh overhears and feels bad, decides to let Kartik take care of the family and he to save his family from harm will leave for Dubai. Then leaves the house.
Kartik asks where Shubh is, Ga says he is in his room and that Kartik hasn't wished him on his birthday yet. Kartik says that he forgot, hasn't got a gift for him either. He asks Suhana to get him so he can take him to the market and get whatever he wants. Ga says she will get him, goes to his room, and sees a letter on his bed. Reads and is shicked, screams and comes running to the others. She tells them, Shubh is gone, shows them the letter. Parikshit reads the letter. "Ma, Papa I am going to Dubai. I will try to get bak soon, but rest is in God's hands. I didn't tell u earlier because I wasn't sure myself. I want to give happiness to you all like Kartik so you will be proud of me. Don't worry about me". Ga pleads with Kartik & Parikshit to bring Shubh back. Anusha slyly says she will stay back as Shubh may call back. Kartik and family search for Shubh at the taxi stand, then leave for the airport.
Airport:
At the airport, they search for a long time without success. Then they overhear the sly-faced gunda talking to his boos about Shubh Dikshit. Parikshit recognizes him, before they can reach him he is gone. They search some more for Shubh. Shubh is at some counter, another gunda comes and gives him a slip, which has his hotel info in Dubai. Flight departure is announced, gunda asks him to leave. Finally Ga & Pa find Shubh at security check, they are not allowed in. Shubh also sees them, tries to hide, but by accident ends up facing them. Ga, Pa, Kartik, and Suhana beg him to come back. Shubh feels drawn, but remembers gunda's threat and leaves anyways.
Outside Airport:
Kartik and Pa find the sly-faced gunda and the other gunda. They confront the, sly-faced gunda reveals their association with Shubh, teels them Shubh has gone to repay them for getting the chawl house vacated. Kartik & Pa are shocked to hear this.
Kartik's house:
Anusha us talking to Poornina, happy that Shubh left by himself and she didn't have to anything for that. Just then Kartik & family return. Anusha suddenly changes her tone, and in a crying voice acts like she is sad about it to he mom. Anusha then asks Kartik what happened and acts unhappy about Shubh leaving. Suhana starts crying and tells that it's because of her that Shubh left. She says she knew about the house before, but Shubh hadn't told her about the gundas, rather he had made up a different story. But she says if she told the family about what she knew, maybe they could have stopped him from leaving. She tells them Shubh wanted to gift the chawk house on their anniv, but didn't as it would look small in front of Kartik's gift. She again repeats it's all her fault. Episode ends with Anusha looking on in disgust at the family…
