Sanjog Se Bani Sangini was promoted in a big way a few months ago, but the serial failed to live upto the hype. The television rating points (TRPs) of the show were always low and despite efforts to pep up the story and attempts to bring in new actors, including Vikas Bhalla, the serial never took off. Lead actor Iqbal Khan is naturally disappointed. "I guess it has mostly to do with the TRPs. We weren't able to gain the required momentum," he said.
Not the kind to mince words, Iqbal added, "I feel we kind of lost focus. The plot was going haywire."

No actor would like his show to end within a few months of it starting, but Iqbal feels this is a wise decision on the part of the channel. "I give my 100 per cent to any show that I undertake and most often than not, do not regret my decisions." Hmmm'. (So true..we al know that MIK has given his best evertime)
