Ratnesh(Rudr's older brother) was very furious about the fact that Rudr is spending so much money on their maid Gauri's wedding.He always warned Rudr not to spend so much money on that poor girl's wedding.But Rudr cearly told him,"She is my only friend and I wil do my best to make her wedding memorable."Ratnesh never understood that why Rudr is so much concerned about a poor friend.He already spend Rs 3 lack for her wedding preparations.But today he crossed all the limits by promising Sunehri Devi to give her Rs 5 lacks for Gauri's dowry.Sudama(Rudr's driver) saw Rudr talking about money with Sunehri.He immediatey informed to Ratnesh about Rudr's stupidity.Ratnesh was burning in anger and he made a plan to stop this wedding.He caled Sudama and they had a private talk.Before leaving Sudama told,"Don't worry Sir.Everything will happen according to your plan."
Gauri is sitting in the middle.Her Haldi ceremony is going on.Her house is decorated beautifully.She is wearing a dark yellow saree and is looking like a marigold.Kalki and Umang are dancing in joy.Gauri's neighbours are singing and dancing.Sunehri is busy serving Champu's(Gauri's would be husband) Dadi.Everything is perfect and everyone is happy.Gauri is also smiling but her eyes are gloomy.
Gauri(thinking):Champu is a good guy so is his family.My family is also happy about my marriage.But still why am I not happy.Why am I feeling that something is wrong.Why am I feeling that my destiny has stored something else for me.
Sunehri(thinking):Gauri must never know that I have asked for some money from Rudr for her dowry.What would have I done instead?Champu's Dadi was indirectly forcing me to give some dowry to them.If I didn't give the money to her Gauri would have been taunted throughout her life.As soon as our shop is fixed I wil return it to Rudr.
Gauri looked at the door.She wished to see Rudr.She knew he will not come as it is a girls program.But still she wished to talk to him.
Haldi ceremony is over.Gauri was lying on her bed.She is tierd.She closed her eyes and saw Rudr standing.Rudr told her,"Kal tumhari shadi ke sath sath humari dosti bhi khatam ho jayigi.Tu mujhe bhool jayegi kya.Gauri opened her eyes and was shocked when she realized that tears are falling from her eyes.She hated herself for thinking so much about Rudr.Suddeny she heard her phone ringing.
Gauri:Helo.Kaun Bol Raha Hai?
Sudama:Gauriji Rudr bhayia bahut zyada pee rakhkha hai.Uska mukh se khoon nikal raha hai.Ghar mein koi nahin hai.Sab Diwali manane Delhi gayi hai.Mujhe samajh nahi ara ha hain hum kya karein.
The phone fell from Gauri's hand.She rushed to Rudr's home.She didn't even notice that it is 4 a.m.Kanayiah Lal saw Gauri running.He got curious and followed her.
Sudama gave a wicked smile and rang Champu.
Gauri reached Rudr's home and saw the door wide open.She run to Rudr's room.She saw Rudr drinking.She ran towards him,took the bottle from him and hugged her.
Gaur(crying)i:Kaise Ho Rudr.Mana kiya tha na tumhe itni maat piya karo.Dekho kaise halat banake rakhliya apna.Mukh se khoon nikal raha hain.
Rudr got shocked and pushed Gauri away.
Rudr:Tu pagal ho gayi kya.Mein piya zaroor tha par utna zyada nahin aur mera mukh se khoon bhi nahi nikal raha hai,
Gauri looked at Rudr and saw that he is perfectly ok.She felt embarrassed for hugging him and crying infront of him
Gauri:Sudama called me.Usne bola ki tum ghar pe akele ho aur bahut buri halat mein ho.
Rudr:Ufff this Sudama.He always makes a mountain of a mole.But Gauri it is almost 5 a.m. and you should not have come to my home at this time.Tomorrow is your wedding.
Gauri realized that she should not have come to Rudr's place at this time.She again hated herself for thinking so much about Rudr.
When Gauri was about to leave Rudr stopped her.
Rudr:Gauri please accept this money.No it is not a gift.It is yourt right.It's for repairing your shop.
Gauri:I can' take this.You have already done so much for me.
Rudr:Gauri please take it.Your family needs it.They need to run the shop to survive.You will leave tomorrow then how are they going to earn their livelihood.
Gauri hesitantly took the money.Rudr felt releived.
Gauri:Thanks Rudr.I am very fortunate to have a friend like you.
Rudr smiled.Both shared a sweet moment.
Gauri came downwards and saw Champu,his mother,his Dadi and KL are standing infront of Rud's house.Just when she opened her mouth to speak Champu came forward and gave her a tight slap.Gauri looked shocked and her eyes got wet.
