Jonaki thanks for the analysis. I agree with almost all of it. Especially the part where you say that ppl are not going spend time analysing the characters. That is a big factor. And a good story won't have that problem. I spend most of my time noticing bloopers and not watching or listening...cuz I know I won't miss much...only time I sit up and watch with interest is when Abhay appears.. 😉....and if Abhay and Pihu appear together...then....😃

I think the prime reasons for this low rating is:

1)Tere Liye and Uttaran are two well established shows with a huge number of viewers.Both these shows air at 10p.m. which is the time slot for Sangini also. I have never watched Tereliye but the other one personally I think Sangini is like million times better.

2)Older generation love to watch Saas-Bahu,Rona Dhona,Sazish so they prefer to watch Uttaran,PR,Bidai etc while the younger generations love to watch steamy hot romantic stories so they prefer ROB,Geet etc.Hence the CV's need first to choose their target audience and mould the stories according to their likings. I still feel if the CV's put in an effort they can get both audience without the rona dhona, without the evil scheming vamp. Just stop confusing poeple.

3)There is no vamp who is busy all day in scheming and planning,there is no comical character to make people laugh and no females who cry all day in this soap. The absence of the vamp is one of the most +ve thing about this show for me. On a lighter note give Rudr some alcohol(not the entire bottle of Dadaji's Khayamat) and we get the comedy we want 😉

4)The characters are very complex.People watch a soap to get entertainment and not to do a research about characters.So they are failing to relate to the characters. That is so unfortunate that people prefer to watch predictable boooring characters.

5)There are too many bloopers which can be caught by children also. Agree. CV's need to focus on details and make sure that every scene has a meaning to the story and is logical.

6)The pace of the story is very first.People love to watch dragging stories.Zee's flagship show is a big example. Dont agree with this Jonaki - On the contrary I think it is dragging the whole P-R-A angle tooo much. All we have watched in the last 25 episodes is the confusion of who does P want to marry and the events that revolve around that.

70The most important reason is that the CV's do not know what they want to tell.They do not know what they actually wants to show.If you watch the show in bits you may like the presentation,dialouges.But if you watch it daily then you will find no connection among the scenes. I think this part is true to me, I have a feel that the scenes shown after the mahaepisode is lacking conviction, is spinnng and I thin lacks a connection with the story

da points u made are crystal clear and soooooo dam true.....
da reason i dont watch other shows and stick to tere liye is da simplicity of da story, da characters are really easy to understand whereas sangini is full of confused ppl😆

@jonaki: i dont agree with your point 1. bcoz if ur story is good and shown properly with all elements put together then it can beat any competition. that has been proven by other shows which have overtaken established shows to become no 1 in their respective time slots. for eg Chotti Bahu used to be the leader at 7.30 then SGP came and it has taken over that slot completely. That's becoz of the way the story is shown.

I agree with your point 4. people watch soaps to pass time and be entertained. they watch it knowing very well that it is over dramatised but still do becoz well who doesnt like to listen or read or watch stories, right? we are fans so we discuss and analyse and understand characters. but even we can't understand Pihu most times. so you can imagine what an average viewer feels. I dont believe we need to have vamps or anyting for a show to be a hit. Those days are gone. What is needed is a story that is been told in a proper way. if something is happening show the reason for it happening and then move ahead. I think somewhere the CT got confused. they just need to get their act together and now focus on moving ahead. and since the story is abt how gauri ends up in rudr's life they have to go ahead and do it. and then maybe bring pihu back in their lives and show a triangle (which i think is how it was planned all along)

I am wondering if the reason for this part is the CV team listening to viewer response that they like Raga friendship and also that they want more Ruhu scenes. I guess in an effort to satisfy these viewer requests, the CV's took their eye off the ball which is the story and started focusing on giving us some Raga and Ruhu scenes which dont have too much to do with the storyline.

the show is just too confusing. the relationships all seem to be under developed and nothing makes any sense.
