they were having an argument and i forgot wat exactly she said but it was something along the lines that basically she is the only one who cares for him (his family doesn't) and she made a mistake when she fell in love with him & oh yea she also was annoying him by saying that Abhay is so nice and good etc, he got jealous and pissed so he slapped her
