The way Vardhan is planning everything and succeeding in each step I think if he feels like Ishani can become an obstacle in his future plans he will easily frame her for drugging Sid before surgery.(coffee)
Ishani will definitely have her own doubts regarding this and may be she will start her investigation too but before she reach up to Vardhan he can frame her by telling she did it deliberately to take revenge on sid's betrayal. personal revenge on professional life.
