As I had mentioned in a post somewhere else ... Simran’s fathers name in season 1 was Vardhan. It is very possible that this guy is Simran’s brother. I had the doubt from day 1 but felt it could just be a coincidence. Simran was pretty obsessed with Rahul in season 1 and had even married him. Then she turned totally evil. Finally Rahul had gotten rid of Simran and Juhi and he came together ... this whole joining hands angle seems so out of character for Rahul and total injustice to who he was in season 1 just to push season 2’s story between Juhi and Shashank, which was such a teacher-mentor/ if I may so say so even now a older brother-younger sister kinda bond. Anyway u never know what the makers had in their minds back then and it’s almost 17 years since that time ...
I feel Vardhan’s revenge is more to do with how his sister suffered and eventually died because of Rahul and Shashank but in turn, Vardhan could be using Rahul as well to extract revenge from Juhi .. atleast that’s the hope since I can’t have season 1’s lovely pair butchered all in the name of this season ...
Another thing I wanted to know was ... Shashank was married to Smriti and then doctor Padma in season 2 (DMG) and had two kids, Riddhima and Anjali ... Anjali is still here, but where is Riddhima ? And why is Sid’s mom (who later played Padma on season 2) hiding from Shashank ?
