Hi folks
This is my first post in this forum. Seeing the posts n comments here in general, I think I'll be the one in minority😆 hope I m still welcome here n we have some fun!!
Well, to tell about myself, more than the stories, I watch itv shows for good performances because EOD, either there's no story at all or the story gets butchered due to various reasons. So I like those shows where the actors can justify their characters to me.
And that said, majorly I m here for Vardhan and Anjali Such brilliant actors n such a stunning pair Rohit and sayantani are☺️ And honestly, these r the only 2 characters in the show who seem to have various layers which make them likable for me. Their tashan, the friction, some selfishness, that manipulation, some love deep inside and that pain of Anjali...wow...it's all so nicely written and these two talented bombshells depict it even more nicely. Frankly, after having seen sayantani in the role of Neil and avni's neela maa, I was a bit unsure if I'll be able to accept her as daughter of mohnish, but my my, she has impressed me once again!! About their intimacy in last 2 episodes, it's intriguing. Like Rohit put in his caption, whether Vardhan is charmed by Anjali or he is trapping her with his charm...we'll never know. They both have their motives... Vardhan wants revenge from shashank and Anjali wants to show him how it looks like to see Ur loved one with someone u don't like. And both r using eachother for their own motives. It's not like they'll only pretend to be together in front of shashank. They'll go for this affair just to prove themselves in front of shashank. And that's where their dance started... totally out of flirting. Since both can't disclose their agenda to each other, they have simply taken the initiative without telling anything to the other. We get to hear Vardhan's monologues but we can understand Anjali too when she says every man comes close to me because he wants to get closer to my dad, we can see even while dancing together, she has not come in his trap. But she's not stopping him either for her own reasons. And then poor Anjali heard what she dreaded throughout her life...that her dad loves Dr juhi who used to be her Didi... someone just a few years older than her...n that's totally embarrassing for her. She is again hurt that her dad is not giving any importance to her feelings and who matters to him is juhi alone. And if in this vulnerable situation, a man comes with whom she has some undefined relationship and hears her out, supports her, gives her a shoulder to cry on and most importantly, tells her that she is always no.1 for him, that's obviously gonna melt her at least in that moment. Being the topmost priority for someone is what she badly needed at that moment. N she got carried away...some hormonal imbalance too, maybe! The actors were brilliant, be it their flirting or emotional scene or the intimate romance or a little creepy touches of Vardhan on her back while she was crying...take a bow u two! I m totally excited to see how they proceed and hope they don't make a fool out of Anjali like they did with ishani...keep her equally smart as Vardhan and they'll be one terrific couple!
My second favourites r shashank n juhi...another couple of brilliant actors. And their mature story. I haven't seen season one, so I don't know about their dynamics more than what I have read here in the forum, so their pairing doesn't affect me much. For me, its another senior-junior couple. And so far, their journey has been cute n gradual. I m also liking the fact that they r not unnecessarily creating heck out of it...it's ok if shashank loves her, she is not behaving unreasonably irrational or arrogant or too uncomfortable in his presence, they have their routine relation intact. There's just a bit of awkwardness, some unanswered questions, some confusion, and juhi's hurt that her mentor spoiled her career for any reason apart from what she believed over the years that she did some mistake in her duty! I won't give this relationship a name yet but whatever it is, it is very mature, peaceful and so beautiful.
And lastly, I m not at all here for Sid ishani. I can't stand for at least 25 years old doctors that immature butterfly love story without any progression and now age old forced drama of past betrayal. Too boring for me! I would have loved had they kept ishani's character the way it was. This loveria wali ishani is hell annoying. And now this sudden drama of Sid...it already screams khoda pahaad nikli chuhiya climax! And the acting doesn't help either. Namit is good only in funny and regular scenes...horrible in emotional or angry scenes. I still can't get over that scene where he was badly injured and was speaking to ishani like a robot...he reminded me of 3 idiots k Raju k maa k imagination wala his baap. And SC...she is still in Annika modeSince the loveria has struck ishani, she has made ishani another Annika with all those fluctuating expressions. Her emotional scenes give me asthama and her intimate scenes (including just hand holding etc scenes too) with those hyperventilating expressions make me want to give her an oxygen cylinder. I could never stand her overacting, but she used to be quite good as Annika cuz the character too demanded this acting. But she has failed as ishaani and the range of her versatility has been exposed. In my honest unpopular opinion, I wish they cast better actors in the supposed lead roles, because both the senior pairs r definitely way way way better in their craft that the younger ones' melodrama becomes even more unbearable.
Rest of the supporting cast is meh. One asha girl was amazing, they replaced her too. I don't seem to find this new girl fitting in that haryanvi language. She is speaking it quite nicely, but her personality is not fit for it.
That's all for the day...this turned out to be quite a long rant🙈 And before I m attacked, let me make it clear, I m neither an immature hormonal teen nor a mature old lady, neither m I here to instigate anybody. This is simply my pov.
