Anjali

Anjali is so far one of the strongest characters of the show. Almost one of the most consistent as well, apart from her non-reaction to Vardhan manhandling her which was out of character for her.

I have a question though, they've portrayed her to be an only child - especially in that dinner scene with Shashank & Juhi where she says he never gave her attention when she was growing up. She's talking from a singular point of view with no mention of a sister?

I've never seen Sanjivani 1 so I don't know. Did Shashank have 2 daughters in that show?

Riddhima & Nurse Padma

Am I missing something? What happened to Riddhima? Did they kill her off in DMG?

Also happened to Nurse Padma? Didn't her and Shashank get married in DMG?

Sequel to which show?

Is Sanjivani 2 a continuing from Sanjivani 1? Are they skipping over DMG as if that never happened? Which show this one is a sequel to?

The best thing about Anjali is her character. Its so well written. I mean not a bit of change even after so many episodes. She is still sassy, mean, arrogant and a bossy attitude carrier. 😎

~I agree. Anjali's character is the most consistent one & Sayantani has picked up the character really well from where it has been left. Even I was expecting a reaction from her to Vardhan's action but while leaving when she said "Main Bikaau Nahi Hu" with saasy attitude, I think her reaction was loud & clear to him & well presented without any heavy dialogues.

~Shashank has only one daughter Anjali in Season 1.

~Yeah Shashank was married to Padma & Riddhima was his adopted daughter who at last reunited with Armaan in DMG. But in S2 they never mentioned it till now.

~Right now they haven't show anything that is purely connected to DMG & don't have any link to S1, so in my view they aren't considering DMG.
