Watch today's episode, it seems like there are some genuine reasons for her irritating behaviours, maybe some childhood trauma or the way people treated her or something. I feel there are some reasons why they are portraying her like this.

Namit as Dr Sid is really good. I liked the sensitivity and humility he portrayed today. His character is a lovable one. Except that misguiding patients for greater good part, I like is character very much. He is fun loving, witty as well as a sensitive man.

I am loving his character. He is the perfect mix of fun loving yet responsible. He is sensitive, kind and empathetic. Even in his dealings with Ishani he is mature. He respects her capacity as a doctor and doesn't just discredit her because she misbehaves with him. He gives her opportunities to succeed as a resident. He is the perfect mentor for junior residents. And today he apologized if he got too personal.

Today Ishani really bothered me.. way too much arrogance for a first year. She may be good. But Sid is her senior. No matter how much you learned in med school there is always more to learn in practice. The writers are showing them as equals in the field which may work for the eventual romantic pairing but it is not appropriate for the experience difference between them.

I also agree with you.. And also right she is doing what she has asked to.. first two episodes I found she is very irritating when she forces her opinions on anyone..I like SC though.. Started watching for SC and NK as well..

I haven't watched previous seasons of sanjivani but I am liking all the characters as of now....everyone fit in their characters...

Can someone give brief update of characters in S1 if possible

Bold: I guess that's the point here. They are too eager to start a love hate relationship between them from the very first episode itself, that is why they are showing them equals, so that the bickering looks natural, though the result is the opposite🤔.

Today episode is too good..everything is balanced...SC also settling in Ishani char...last 4mins r very emotional...

I only want this complaining track to get over...this is the one irritating...

today every scene is commendable... From sid coming to know of ishani's close relationship with shashank, ishani's knowledge abt old cases and his jealousy regarding this, and their bickering on this were cute🤗...but in his jealousy he started behaving like actual boss and didnt allow her to assist him in shashank surgery😭

But ishani also should have reality check as to how she should behave and in what way she have to explain and conduct herself...😒

First scene they had some mature and normal convo...i like these kinda scenes more than bickerings...👍🏼

I have to agree with you on this. As a doctor myself, I find Ishani annoying and unrealistic. Her over-confidence is extremely off-putting. In a real hospital, she would be blasted for her over-confidence. The know-it-all Mahan kind of characters works in most ITV serials, but in a medical-related show, it's annoying and off-putting. Any doctor will tell you that book knowledge varies from practical knowledge. In fact, those who excel in terms of academics (for Medicine), may not perform that well on ground. Because they require 2 different skill sets, And practical knowledge is only gained through experience, especially for the surgical field. So Ishani's over-confidence is unwarranted because as a 1st year resident, she hasn't seen enough to have this kind of over-confidence. Moreover, doctors can be confident but not over-confident. As a doctor, we need to know our limitations and be willing to learn from others. And doctors need to have fear too. A fear of harming patients through our biases and pre-conceived notions. It is that fear that keeps us alert, it is that fear that makes us rethink and to check again to make sure that we have not misdiagnosed our patients. A doctor needs a healthy balance of confidence and fear. Over-confidence only leads to making more mistakes.

I am really disappointed with the PH. They claimed to have researched and even hired doctors for guidance for the show. I expected a good medical show on this basis. But so far, they've only been glorifying unethical medical practices and hightlighting the wrong and unrealistic aspects of being a doctor. Plus, the junior cast, including Surbhi look a bit clumsy and unconvincing in their roles as doctors. They need to sink in more into their roles.

Watching for doctor juhi & anjali

The old genre and the maturity will make show reach hights

Liking the new pair, ishani is bit irritating she needs to bring that maturity to character with added fun elements

For what Dr Dr ishani want to complain about Dr sid? For about that sid asking money from rich patients in order to pay hospital bill for boy ?

Dr ishani has impression that Dr sid is corrupted doctor that is why she is irritated with him ?? Look like Dr ishani looses her control when people are not fair in their work and dont follow rules
