Hey guys,
How are you all? I am very well. I know you all will be thinking why I am updating today but it was supposed to be Marthika updating. I think she is busy or else she would have posted the update long ago. I have taken the initiative to post the update on her behalf.
Brief Summary
Sagar stands outside the office and stares at Ganga who is trying to conduct business.
When he disappears from the window she goes to check.
He is inside her office.
She is rattled. He talks about their feelings.
She leaves for her meeting.
Shanta's birthday party. Shubot recites poetry. Shubot, Ganga and Sagar discuss what love is.
Sagar tries to persuade her to accept their love. She begins to weaken.
Ganga slaps Sagar
Detailed Update
(1st bit was missed in the video) The gist of the first scene was RM making parathas in the kitchen when his mother comes to discuss him getting wed. He burns the paratha.
Ganga in the office conducting a meeting with some suppliers and Sagar is seen outside her office. He is grinning and waves to her.
She gets a phone call from Gudiya regarding the arrangements for Shanta's surprise party. She looks toward the window and Sagar can't be seen. She walks toward the window slowly. As she nears the window a voice is heard from behind her.
Sagar: I am here!!!
She looks back and sees Sagar sitting on the sofa. He is smiling. He asks her whether she was looking for him. She replies;
Ganga: Yes I was. I wanted to ask you why you keep staring at me all the time?
She walks around her office desk and sits back down on her chair.
Ganga: Sagar, if someone had seen you doing this then it wouldn't be good.
Sagar sits down on the opposite chair. He is still smiling.
Sagar: Oh Yeah!! Who for? For the world? For you? or for me?
Ganga: For everyone. Anyway I am not affected by all of your attempts.
Sagar: Really, then why have you signed your name twice on 1 file?
He smiles at her. Ganga looks frustrated and gets up intending to walk out to attend the meeting. As she rounds the table, Sagar stands up and she bumps into him. They have an eye lock session (man the sparks!!!) Ganga slowly moves away from him. He is still smiling at her.
Sagar: Even there you will think of me.
She tries to get around him to leave but he grabs her by the shoulders to stop her.
Sagar: Wherever you go, your eyes will always search for me. No matter where you live, I will always be in your thoughts. However much you lie the truth of our love will always make you aware of the lies. However much you run from yourself you will always see me near.
She shrugs his arms off her. He waves her to go to her meeting. She leaves. He smiles smugly.
Shanta and Shubot come home to a house in darkness. He switches on the light when everyone greets them with good wishes. Shanta cuts the cake. Shubot and Shanta share a piece of cake. Ganga and Sagar both reach out for the knife when their hands meet. They both stare at each other and move their hands away.
Shubot says a poem for Shanta's beauty and their love for each other.
Ganga interrupts in Shubot recitation of what he feels love is.
Ganga: Sacrifice. Love is another word for sacrifice. If 2 people love each other but if that love is hurting someone else then those 2 people never receive true happiness. Happiness gained from someone's pain and tears cannot give someone true happiness. Love doesn't always win. Sometimes defeat needs to be embraced. Then love is completed and successful.
Sagar: I don't agree. Love isn't successful through sacrifice. Love is completed and successful only when its a two-way love. One-sided love gained through sacrifice becomes a punishment for a companion. Love is a pure feeling just like a worship to God. Love isn't the name for gaining and losing. It is being together with your love one, for life.
Everyone claps. Ganga walks away. Khurana and Sagar both notice. Sagar follows her. Ganga is in her room when Sagar comes in. He reaches out to her. She moves away.
Sagar: From who are you trying to hide your face, Ganga? From me? From everyone? Or from yourself? If you are so sure of your feelings and emotions then face the truth.
She looks at him then turns away. Sagar catches hold of her arm and brings her back into his arms.
Sagar: The truth is that you love me. You love me alot. Look at your eyes. Only my name is written there. Feel the fragrance of your breaths where I am felt. Listen to the beating of your heart where only name is heard which is mine. Sagar!!! Sagar is your truth. Sagar is your love and your life.
Its enough now. You have played enough of this hide and seek game with your Sagar, with your emotions, your reality. Don't give yourself so much pain. You have sufferred enough. I won't let you suffer anymore. Just say one time what your final decision is. Speak Ganga.
She asks him to let her go. He refuses. She turns to walk away when he grabs her hand and turns her. Ganga raises her hand and slaps him. He is shocked.

Comments: I was shocked today at Ganga slapping Sagar. I hope this doesn't discourage him. Enjoyed the romantic moments. More comments in the post titled Evaluation of 11.06.08 update.
