A few unanswered questions

I follow Sangam on and off... the other day when Sagar was recapping his entire relationship with Ganga...so many things struck me.

1. Did Ganga go back to her village after she was found by Kurana uncle? How did she come to know about her mom's death(does she even know😕) If she knew then she must have also known that it was Sagar who did the last rite for her mom... if she knew that...she would have known that Sagar didnt run away, he did come back. Does she even know how Madan and her aunty were in jail... and that it was because of Sagar that they went to jail... if she knew that she wont have assumed Sagar betrayed her. If she doesnt know... that means she didnt care to find out😕

2. Ganga's goals in life never seem to be focused... it seems forever changing... for eg...
i. She was determined to continue studying... she gave up... ok that was understandable giving her family's economic condition.
ii. Then she wanted to teach the construction company who built the dam a lesson a good lesson... but soon even that disappeared after Sagar came into the picture.
iii.She wanted to build a school as a tribute to her dad... well Sagar did help her realise that... but she never cared later😕
iv. Then she went missing and then landed up at the Kuranas... she told Kurana uncle that her goal in life is to teach the construction company for being responsible for her dad's death and betraying so many people.... and Kurana uncle seem to suggest that she should take up journalism for that... she looked determined... and I have no clue what happened to that goal😕
Now she is heading the same company she accused of unethical means and was determined to bring down... and there was no plot to show that she was cleared of her misunderstanding with regard to the dam😕


This story is gone way beyond its actual story and what it had promised. They have lost the plot inbetween... the only constant remaining Sagar and Ganga and how they Sangam will ultimately happen... i fear by the time it happens, the audience may just give up. 😕 May be it is time Madan comes back... it is only him who can get Sagar and Ganga back together.

well i actually didn't watch this show in the beginning so am just lost by your words and confused

I'm a bit confused too, even though I've been watching the show regularly since the beginning. I think even the writers are confused about the story. Anyway, here's what I can tell how about the story:

1. She did go back to the village after finding Khurana uncle. I don't remember how she got the news of her mother's death, but I remember Ganga going to collect her mother's ashes. She just got the ashes and doesn't know who performed the last rites. She also never found about Madan and Bua going to jail.

2. Who knows what she wants? After she came to Khurana's house, she started studying again. I think they mentioned that she'd actually finished her studying after some time. Her revenge was supposed to be against Madan and whoever else that wronged her but after she met Shekhar and his family and she seemed to forget about all of that. Now I think her goal is to be a mother to Shekhar's child and to finish the Rahul Mehra project which was supposedly Shekhar's dream.

Like you said, the storyline is completely different from what it had been in the beginning. A lot of people, including myself have pretty much given up on the Ganga/Sagar pairing. Except the night of their sagam, we never really got to see many romantic scenes between them. This is even worse than the Ekta's serials in the sense that in those the hero and heroine keep getting together and breaking up. Here, they don't even do that. Even when Madan came back, he didn't really help things much.
