Hello everyone
I'm back with today's update of Sangam.
The episode starts with a recap of yesterday's events.
Khurana is in is office checking the accounts. There is no account for 5 lakhs. He mentions to Mahendra Babu (I think that's his name) to ask Shekhar about it. He is shocked by this and just says that Shekhar is the owner of the business and how he spends his money is no business of mine. He must have spent it on his future wife etc. He can't ask him to give him account of his spending. Khurana agrees and says he'll ask him himself and gets up to go. MB looks concerned and worried.
Jhanvi is in her room pacing yet again (is that all she does?) She gets flashback of Shekhar saying that upto now he only respected and from now he is beginning to love her. She smiles but then another Jhanvi appears. She asks her who she is and she replies 'Ganga' Jhanvi says that I'm ganga. The apparaition just says no because Ganga loved only Saagar and lived only for him. He was everything to her but you are spinning a future with Shekhar. Jhanvi retaliates and says that Saagar is to marry Kaveri so why can't she think about her future? Sagar is the one responsible for killing Ganga etc. The apparition disappears. She decides to ring Shekhar up.
Shekhar is in his office with Khurana and Mahendra babu arguing regarding the expense of 5 lakhs being unaccounted for. Khurana doesn't say anything about him stealing it or anything but Mahendra gets all hyper and says that he wouldn't fraudently copy his signature and cash a cheque for 5 lakhs as he is like a son to him etc. The argument escalates to a near breaking of saagar/Kaverei marriage. Shekhar gets frustrated and shouts stop very loudly. His phone rings. He answers it.
Its Jhanvi but then the argument begins anew with Mahendra. Shekhar stops him and says that does he not have enough on his plate regarding sagar and kaveri without this on top. He just goes on about it and Jhanvi is listening to it all. He puts the phone to his ear after a while and says yes jhanvi but Jhanvi just says that its Ok she'll speak to him when he gets home. She disconnects the phone.
Jhanvi decides to tell Saagar the truth and walks out of her room.
Sunny is being fed by Shanta who encourages him to finish all the soup. She leaves after making sure he does so. Jhanvi comes to the doorway and Sunny turns his head towards her as he senses her presence. He reaches out and Jhanvi is walking towards him when Kaveri catches his arm and tells him to be careful. She makes him sit down. She notices Jhanvi standing there and tells her that they have to go home as her father hass arrived and tomoroow is the engagement. Jhanvi just says that Shekharji is coming too. Kaveri teases her about it. Shanta comes and tells her that they have to leave today as tommorrow they enter the house in all their finery. If she wants to speak to Shekhar then she can write him a letter and she will make sure that Shekhar gets the letter as soon as he enters the house. Kaveri is confused regarding the letter thing. Shanta explains that nowadays Jhanvi expresses her feeling through a letter. Kaveri asks her what she wrote in it. Jhanvi just takes her home with Kaveri continully asking her what was written in the letter.
Sagar is sleeping in his room when Shekhar comes in and puts his phone down on the bed. He gets the blanket off the bottom of the bed and places it over Sunny and the phone. Sunny grabs his head and thanks him. He then says that he is very worried about him isn't he? Shekhar denies this and just leaves the room. Shanta is coming in his room to give him milk before bed. She does so and asks her whether Shekhar is worried about him etc. She also denies this and reminds him that it is his engagement the next day and to go to sleep. She leaves the room.
Kaveri and Jhanvi are in their room with Jhanvi sewing a chunri and Kaveri reading a book. Kaveri tickles Jhanvi and she copies Jhanvi when she speaks. She grabs the chunri and teases her about not being able to wait for the day to start. She retaliates by saying the chunri is Kaveri and not hers. Kaveri again asks her about the content of the letter. Jhanvi refuses to tell her anything when Kaveri suggests a couple of things she could ahve written i.e. my darling shekhar etc. Jhanvi hits Kaveri with a pillow. Kaveri is called by her dad when she tells Jhanvi that tomorrow the contents of the letter will be revealed and she leaves.
Jhanvi is scared is rings up Shekhar whose phone is in Sunny room. Sunny realises that his brother's phone was left in his room by mistake and he searches for the phone. He finds it and answers it. It is Jhanvi. He coughs into the phone and Jhanvi begins to say that the when she wrote that letter she didn't know that it will cause such a storm in her life and in others. She stops and Sunny coughs again to urge her to continue and he smiles. Jhanvi goes on to say that he shouldn't tell anyone about the letter especially Sagar. Sunny looks shocked and the episode ends on his face.
PRECAP: Engagement gathering was shown with some reality stars (children) singing the title song of Salaam-e-Ishq.

Comments: The ending of the episode was such a cliff-hangar that I can't wait til Monday to find out what will happen. Will Sagar think its Ganga or will he let Jhanvi know that its him she's speaking and not Shekhar?
There was a scene with Mahendra babu and his son (the baddies) but I fastforwarded that scene as I hate wathing these two. They are always hatching a plot to get rid of Shekhar or Khurana etc. Mahendra babu was just recaping how he saved himself regarding the money to his son.
No madan today (thank god!)
I want to see more Sunny/Jhanvi scenes. They are so cute together.
Can't wait for monday to watch the next episode. As I watch this drama every day online I will continue to post updates til further notice.
