Hello everyone,
Hope you had a good weekend. I know that many of you have been discussing the events that occurred on Thursday and are wondering on the events that happened today so I won't leave you in suspense and get on with the update.
I am writing the update as I watch so I'll apologise in advance if any mistakes are made.

Episode Update
A recap of Thursday episode is shown.
Ganga begins to tell the story of S/G.
G: I know Sagar's truth very well. It is true that Sagar met a girl in Kundanpur. Her name was Ganga.
Sagar face is shown in a split screen (3 Sagar's) as is G face (3)
Shubot is looking very shocked. G is still not looking at anyone. She's looking to the side. S and Kaveri are transfixed to what G is saying.
G: When each began to love each other, neither knew. They continued to drown in the love both had for each other. But circumstances betrayed them. When time took away G from S. Now Ganga has no identity or existence. Because she is no longer alive.
S is shocked at G words. He continues to stare at G with disbelief.
G: If Ganga is alive then only in S memories.
G turns towards Kaveri and holds her hands.
G; I know one more thing Didi, S likes you alot. That's why he made the decision to marry you.
S looks at G with tears in his eyes and turns sideways. G urges Kaveri to look at S.
G: Look Didi S needs you.
Kaveri: Jhanvi if this is true then why did S hide this from me?
G: because didi, he was afraid that this truth would bring tears to your eyes. He was afraid to give you pain and sorrow.
G looks at everyone.
G; If you are all wondering how I know all this then I will tell you that S told me all this.
G looks back at Kaveri and speaks to her.
G: Because he knew that I'm the closest to you. Didi Ganga is just the past. You are Sagar's present and now you have to be his future.
Shubot moves forward and voices his thoughts on what has been said.
Shubot: Jhanvi is right. Forget the past and look towards the happiness in your future. Since S has made this decision to marry you I have seen (couldn't hear the end of this sentence properly.) He is ready to spend his whole life with you.
Kaveri turns towards S to gain his acceptance.
Kaveri: Is this true, S? I want to hear this from you.
S is unable to say anything. He first looks at G then at Kaveri. G looks at him and sees he is not saying anything. She turns Kaveri towards her.
G: Didi, S has promised me that he will never let his past come in between your happiness. He will always take care of you and never let a tear come in your eyes. Isn't this right, S?
G looks toward S when she says this. S looks at her. Kaveri turns towards him. S looks down and then looks in front where he remembers the vow he made to G about not letting Kaveri know about them and to keep Kaveri happy.
G; You'll keep this vow, won't you?
S looks at her and then looks down and nods his head.
G moves into the middle of them and takes the papers off Kaveri with the drawings of G in them.
G; S/G story never even began!
She takes Kaveri's hand and S's hand and puts them in each other's hands. S looks at her.
G: But didi you have to take your story to its conclusion. You will still accept S after knowing all this won't you? The love that is needed in his life, you will give him won't you?
Kaveri: Whose companionship completes her identity how can I leave him incomplete! I will forget the past and start life afresh.
G smiles at this. S doesn't say anything. Shanta moves towards the fallen ring and picks it up. She tells her to place it on S finger. S looks at G who stops smiling. Kaveri slowly puts the ring on S finger as S looks at G continuously. G is looking at the ring with pain. Everyone claps. S looks at G and she looks at him too.

The guests all come towards the 'happy' couple to congratulate them. G slowly moves backward. She is unable to keep her tears in any longer as she runs across the corridor to her room crying. She leans back against the door and holds the papers in her hand very tightly. She cries uncontrollably and remembers all the moments spent with S.
Downstairs S and Kaveri are feeding each other sweet while photographs are being taken.
G is sitting on the floor in her room and holding the ring S gave her. She has tears rolling down her cheeks and is remembering the time he placed the ring on her finger and other memories while the Sangam theme tune (sad) plays in the background.
S is having photos taken with Kaveri while he remembers photos taken with G. Shubot is taking the photos.
G while crying drops the ring on the floor.
Kaveri and S are dancing with each other.
G puts her head on her raised knees and cries uncontrollably while the screen turns dark.
Puttan, Buaji and Alka are in a room. Puttan is commenting on why they have to take Alka to the party. Buaji says that it will be commented on it if they didn't take her. They insult Alka.
Buaji and Puttan arrive and congratulate S and Kaveri on their engagement. Buaji asks Shanta about Jhanvi whereabouts.
Sagar in his mind: Ganga I know what pain and tears you are fighting with.
G is shown crying.
Buaji asks Shanta to find her as she still has to contragulate the happy couple.
Shanta goes to look for her.
G hears Shanta calling for her. She quickly wipes her tears and shouts that she will be there in just a bit.

G comes down the stairs. S looks towards her. Kaveri smiles at her. While looking around, G notices the way Puttan is talking to Alka.
Puttan is talking to someone. Alka comes and asks him how she looks now. Puttan begins to insult her yet again. Puttan tells her to go stand in the corner and not to talk to anyone. G is looking at them with concern. Puttan moves away while Alka goes towards the corner of the room to stand alone.
G walks towards Alka and asks her why she is standing alone and she hasn't congratulated S and Kaveri yet. Alka refuses to go with her as she explains that she is illiterate and doesn;t know the ways of the city people. She might make a mistake. G explains that all these ways aren't important a persons heart should be beautiful. She comments that ALka has a beautiful heart and she is very nice. that's why she likes her. Alka cannot believe that G likes her and after receiving reassurance of her words smiles happily and goes to congratulate the happy couple.
Alka hesitantly goes to the couple. She takes out some money from her pallu and circles both S and Kaveri with it. SHe blesses them both with happiness and lots of kids. Kaveri embraces her. Kaveri tells her that she received lots of wishes etc but she liked hers the best as she gave words to their deepest wishes. Alka looks towards G. S and Kaveri look at her too. Kaveri signals G to come to her.
G goes towards them. S looks at G.
Kaveri: All this has happened because of you. If our relationship has reached its conclusion then its all down to you. Remember J you had promised me that when I return from Austrailia you yourself will get me wed to S. Today you have fulfilled your promise.
Puttan and Buaji are watching this with smiles on their faces. They keep nodding at some points in the conversation.
G: Not I didi. Fate has made this happen Noone can change or refute the decision of Desstiny/Fate.
S: (in his mind) Not the decision of fate but the game played by fate in which our love lost.
G: Now let me congratulate on your engagement.
Congratulations on gaining the destination of your love. May God gave you so much happiness that your arms aren't enough to hold them.
S is staring at G with sorrow. S and Kaveri look at each other.
Kaveri: but J why don't you look happy today?
G is shocked and S looks at G.
Kaveri: Is there some tension?
Kaveri suddenly smiles.
Kaveri: To whom up to now you have called didi is now becoming your younger sister-in-law (Devrani) That is why the tension. How will you order me about?
Kaveri and G both smile at each other.
Shanta comes and tells them to gain the blessings of the other person who was responsible in getting this wedding done. They are all sad.
The family are all gathered at Khurana photo.
Kaveri (in her mind): When you left me I thought I was alone in the world but you have given me such a large family before you left. Give me the bless me that as much as the happiness I have gained from this family I am able to return twice as much happiness to this house.
Sagar (in his mind); Fate has played such a game with us. You were ready to sacrifice Kaveri's happiness for G happiness. But fate has changed the players completly. For Kaveri's happiness, G has sacrificed her happiness, uncle. Today there is tears in her eyes.
He looks towards G and sees her wipe her tears. He continues with his talk with Khurana
S: G is very sad and in a lot of pain. Your ganga is very sad today.
G (in her mind): In front of Kaveri didi happiness, G sorrow is nothing. Seeing the happiness in Kaveri didi eyes, I will happily drink my tears. This way I will be able to give you something back in return of your favours and help with everything.
The screen moves from G face to Khurana's pic several times.
Precap: Puttan is saying things to G about being widowed at a such a young age. She needs a companion and togetherness. He leers at her. G is looking very uncomfortable. They are alone in a corridor.

Comments: Today episode was so painful to watch. I hated to see the pain in both S/G eyes. We have been a glimpse into what will happen in the future with regard to S/G relationship. Kaveri's words "that she is able to return twice as much happiness to the house" that refers to (in my opinion) that Kaveri will return S to G when she discovers the truth. When the photos were taken with S and Kaveri, S eyes looked dead. There was no smile in his eyes whatsoever. The smiles (rarely smiled) were all forced. You can see it a mile away. WHy couldn't anyone else see that? Also S continued to look at G. WHy wasn't that noriced?
I'm glad that Puttan nor Buaji were present when the revelations regarding Ganga was discussed. Imagine what could have happened?! Anyway I am so not going to enjoy seeing Puttan with his evil and leering eyes on our G. Hopefully S will be nearby and give him a putdown.
