16th October 2009 Written Update

Part 1
-Amber and Dhani are sitting at the step of the mandir talking. Dhani tells him that she knows he is busy with wedding preparations and has to be with his sister because she has only a few days left. She says she is mad at him, he tries to apologize, she grabs his hands to stop him and they stare at each other. She lets go and becomes shy, he looks at her lovingly. Amber tells her that he cannot meet her for a few days but will write to her and wait for her reply impatiently. She takes the letters from him as they continue to stare at each other. He is holding a letter and so is she, he finally lets go. He asks about the letter he sent her yesterday, she tells him she never got one. He asks if she did not get the letter then she just waited for him all day, she says so what, that's what I do. He says if you did not get the letter, who did.
-Amber is asking the man that was supposed to send the letter why he did not send it, he tells her that taiji promised to send it, Amber is shocked.
-Taiji is reading, Amber comes in angrily and asks why he did not send the letter to Dhani. He says you don't like Dhani, that's why you would not send it, you lied to keep the letter away from Dhani, he says no lie will keep me from Dhani. Amber tells her that he will end, but his relationship with Dhani will never end. Taiji looks at him shocked. He leaves angrily as Taiji calls after him, she looks down worried.
-Madhu, Gauri, Taiji, Mayi, and Uma are with a sari seller at home looking at saris. The seller tells Madhu she will look very pretty in the blue sari, she starts to becomes shy as she thinks about it. Gauri tells the seller that the one who will wear it like it a lot. Taiji is staring at a sari, Mayi asks her why she is looking at that Sari, Taiji says it not for me its for Madhu, Madhu says i don't like saris like that, taiji tells her to throw it away then, Mayi continues to look at Taiji. Gauri tells the seller that Gauri wants these dresses. While the other women talk, Taiji quickly took some dresses and told the seller that she wants them. A man comes and says i have come to take Amber's size. Madhu asks why Amber's, Taiji covers up and says that Avinash's dad wants to make clothes for your brother to wear to your wedding. Uma becomes worried that we are taking too much from the in-laws, Taiji says take him to Amber and I will take care of it all. She looks happily as they leave.
-Amber's dad is talking to the wedding card person on the phone, he becomes shocked when he finds out they sent the card to the house. He calls home, he tells a servant to give the phone to Taiji, he says that Taiji is at the mandir. He worries and says what if Amber gets the card.
-Amber is signing something from the delivery man. Madhu asks if she can see the card, Amber tells her that the one getting married sees it last, she says no, they see it first, he takes out the card. He says no the first one to get it sees it, she says if you don't give it to me, I won't talk to you. He says fine, she is about to take it, but he takes it away quickly. he says first promise that you will not cry but smile after your wedding and that you will make ladoo. She agrees. he keeps taking it and she starts to chase him. Amber's dad is coming in the house explaining to Taiji that it will be trouble if anyone sees the card. Amber is still running away from Gauri with the card. Uma, Gauri, and Mayi are laughing at this. The two becomes shocked to see Amber with the card.

Part 2
-She says i a the bride so let me see the card first, he says fine, but hides it behind him and runs back towards Taiji and his dad. Taiji grabs it and says what kind of childishness is this, it's a wedding, it is serious. She says you will all see it later, everyone becomes shocked.
-Dhani's friend is telling Sudha that there is a wedding happening of a family, both the son and daughter are getting married. She says that they want bracelets from me and Dhani's dolls. Sudha asks for their name, she says i don't know, Sudha says to go get a doll ready.
-Amber's dad is saying that Avinash's dad wants to know the dates of the rasams for Amber's wedding, how long will we hide all of this? Taiji says ther is no worry, we just have to get him to get married because Madhu will not get married till he marries Sarla. Amber's dad says I just don't want Madhu's life to be ruined because of this. Taiji says that no couple can be ruined, she says we will make it so this happens with him and Sarla.
-Dhani and her friends are walking to Sarla's house.

Part 3
-Sarla's mom asks a woman where her bahu is, she says that she went to her maayka. She worries and says that we need another new bride. A woman starts asking if there are any new brides, Dhani's friends tells her to go, she yells and says my friend is a new bride. The woman asks who she is, her friends says she is the bride of a big family, she is about to say from where, but Sarla's mom says fine. She says come, lets not waste time, give my daughter your blessings. Dhani walks to Sarla and pours milk on her, she blesses her and says i hope that you are with your husband forever and get lots of love from your sasural.

-Amber;s dad comes to the party at Sarla's house. Dhani's friends pulls Dhani so they can see who it is, her dress gets stuck so she cannot see, he turns away and they don't see him.
