CHAPTER 19

Misha (looking st sanyukta in thoughts): I don't know ki tere aur bhai ke beech goa me kya hua..laur jab karan bhai ka mujhe suddenly call aaya yeh batane ke lia kit um dono kisi baat ko leke ladai hogyi hai toh mai bahut tension me agayi aur tub hi ghar aane ke baad itna strange behave kar rhi thi but now I am sure ki everything is right between you too..may you two stay like this together and forever..

In the evening randhir was brought home. All their relatives and office employees came to see him and wish him get well soon. It was night time and randhir was busy watching news on television in his bedroom. When suddenly someone snatched the remote from him and switch off the television.

Randhir( surprised): what the hell..how dare you?

Sanyukta (keeping hand on her waist): don't dare me Mr shekhawat..because I am in a no mood to be mess with

Randhir (raising eyebrow): oh really sanyukta..i was not aware that you can also get angry I thought you only to know how to cry..and by the why are you in a foul mood

Sanyukta( faking smile) : are you trying to make fun of me because its not working..and by the way I cry only because of you and also I am angry on you..look at the time..its already nine and you haven't eaten your dinner...

Randhir (looking in his phone): ohh if that's the reason then you are wasting your precious time because I am in no mood to eat...you can have yours and do whatever you want..

Sanyukta (snatching the phone): how will you feel hungry..jab se aaye hai bas iss t.v ke age baithkar apni wahi boring black coffee pi rahe hai..and for your kind information too much of black coffee is not good for your health..

Randhir (getting up from couch): please yrr don't irritate me sanyukta..i know how to take care of myself..you just go and do your work..

Sanyukta (arranging the food on the bed mat ): I am just doing my work..and I don't understand why are you being irritated I am just telling you to have your food..(sitting in front of him): so just eat it and then I will not disturb you

Randhir ( throwing the plate): don't you understand one thing..I DON'T WANT TO EAT..then why are you forcing me..don't forget your limit sanyukta..if I am not saying anything to you that does not mean you can do what you want..for me you are still a nobody..so just back off..

Sanyukta silently stood up from the bed and cleaned the floor and left the room without saying anything. Randhir just shook his head in annoyance and again busied himself in his phone. After few minutes again a plate was forwarded towards his face. Sanyukta was again standing with a plate in her hands.

Randhir (getting up from the bed): what's your problem? Don't you get one thing straight in your head..bahut himmat agayi hai na tume..but let me tell you one thing sanyukta..bas haath fracture hua hai mera handicap nhi hu mai ki mujhe tumari help ki zarurat pade..

Sanyukta: and I will pray to god that you stay healthy and live a long life..but now you for your information yesterday only you met with an accident and your right hand is fractured and you are still not well..i know you don't like when some one help you and especially if that someone is me..right..

Randhir : listen you ( interrupted by sanyukta)

Sanyukta: no you listen Mr shekhawat...I am not helping you in any way in fact by doing all this I am helping myself..kyunki jitani jaldi aap thik honge utni hi jaldi mai iss ghar se jaa paungi..kyunki mujhe ab apke saath ek ghar me rehne ka koi shok nhi hai..i am done with you and I am done with this relation and I know aap bhi yahi chahte ho..so why don't we do one thing aap jaldi se thik ho jau jisse mai bhi iss ghar se jaldi jaa saku..( forwarding the plate): now will you eat..ya abhi aur thodi der lecture dena padega..

Randhir snatched the plate from her hand and sat on the bed. He tried to tore the chappati from his left hand and then dig it in daal and start eating it..after few bites spoon fell from his hand due his injured hand. Sanyukta shook his head and then snatch the plate from him and took a seat in front of him

Randhir ( irritated): ab toh khaa rha hun na..toh ab kya problem hai tumhe..why don't you decide one thing should I eat the food or not..

Sanyukta: I can very well see how you are eating..agar nhi khaya jar ha toh bol nhi sakte aap

Randhir : no thanks ..i can very well manage myself ..i don't need your help

Sanyukta: randhir ji kisi help lene se koi chote nhi hota...aur mai yeh sab apko kuch jatane ke liye bhi nahi kar rhi hu..aur vaise bhi mai toh chali jaungi na kuch din ..toh mere iss ghar se jane se pehle aap please kuch din ke liye meri baat man lijiye..iss ke liye mai apse bas request kar sakti hu ..baki apki marzi hai

Sanyukta started getting up from the bed when she suddenly felt a pull on her wrist. Randhir was holding her hand and forwarded the food plate towards her.

Randhir: only for few days..once I am back to normal don't you dare to boss me around.

Sanyukta nodes with a small smile. She started feeding randhir with her own hands.silent tears were forming in her eyes.

Sanyukta (in thoughts while feeding him): How much i wanted to forget everything and start leaving a normal life with you. But I know this is not possible. May we are not meant for each other.

After eating the food randhir was about to get in the bed when sanyukta stop him and handed him his medicine. After the medicine he laid in the bed and let her adjust his quilt. Randhir look outside the French door. There was a cloudy atmosphere. Sanyukta took her pillow and quilt and was about to go to the poolside when randhir called her.

Randhir: vo..i was thinking that why don't you sleep in the room ..don't get any wrong ideas..if I need something and you are not in the room then how will I call you...

Sanyukta (noded her head): I was thinking the same..don't worry I know my limits..i will take the couch.

It was the morning time...randhir woke up and look around the room to find a no trace of sanyukta. He tried getting up from the bed but due to his weak body he was finding it very difficult. After lots of hard work..he got up from the bed and some how reached to the bathroom. He was about to slip in the bathroom when a pair of soft hands hold him from back. Randhir straighten himself.

Sanyukta: what were you doing here? Agar aap gir jate toh..abhi toh sirf ek hath me fracture hai dusre haath me bhi karane ka irada hai kya

Randhir: actually I was in need to use the washroom and I did not find anyone so (interrupted by sanyukta)

Sanyukta: so I thought that I can manage myself because I am the great randhir singh shekhawat...I don't need anyone help..right..aap ko kitani bar bolu yeh khatro ke khiladi khelna band kijiye..agar koi room me nahi tha aur aap awaz bhi nhi laga sakte the toh god ne cell phones bhi banaye hai..mails check karne ke alawa iska kabhie call karne me bhi use kar ke dekhiye

Randhir: okay na baba..next time help chahiye hogi toh call ya msg kardunga..ab toh bahar jao ..i need to use the washroom.

Sanyukta (shaking her head): no way..i am not going out leaving you like this..abhi apka stunt dekha maine..vo toh acha hua mai time pe agayi..lekin agar aap dubara slip hogaya na..toh aur problem hojayegi..i will stay here only

Randhir (shocked): what noo..are you serious..sanyukta why don't you understand I need to do MY MORNING THINGS and you just can't stand here.

Sanyukta (feeling embarrass): okay I know..but still I will not leave you here alone..what if again got yourself hurt.

Randhir: sanyukta..there is a thing called privacy..okay lets do one thing you stand outside the door and I won't lock it and if any case I will need your help I will call you..but please don't stay here..once I will be done I will call you

Sanyukta nod her head understanding his privacy and stood outside. Once he was done he called her inside. Sanyukta helped him with brushing his teeth. Unlike always he was not showing any tantrums for which she was grateful. After coming out of the bathroom he sat on the couch.

Randhir: sanyukta I need to take a bath..just call parth.

Sanyukta : no you can't bath..doctor ne bola hai ki abhi aapke wounds kuch din ke lia water me nhi aane chahye..

Randhir: please yrr sanyukta..i am just feeling so unhygienic..hospital aur medicine ke smell se mujhe vomit hojayegi..and I will take care of my wounds..you just call parth or dad

Sanyukta nod her head knowing how stubborn he is and left the room to call parth. After some time she came. Seeing her alone

Randhir: where is parth?

Sanyukta: actually today was a meeting in the office so papa and parth left early in the morning...aur hari prakash bhaiya bhi market gye hai bread aur eggs lene..

Randhir: dam..jab bhi kisi ki zarurat hoti hai toh koi available nhi hoga...varna 24 hours mere sir par baithe rehte hai..just leave it mai khud hi handle kar lunga..

Sanyukta: lekin randhirji..aap akele kaise karoga..aap aaj rehne do na..

Randhir (geeting up from bed): I have to take a bath sanyukta..i just can't take it anymore..yestersay also I have not taken a bath..i will handle it.

Sanyukta (nervously): if you don't mind may..may I help you

Randhir (surprised): no need sanyukta.. trust me I will manage..you don't need to do it

Sanyukta: no I want to do it..i mean mai thode time ke lia hi sahi lekin mai abhi bhi aapki wife hu..so its my duty to help you..aur apne bhi promise kia than a ki aap mujhe apni help karne se mana nhi karenge..aur vaise bhi aapko toh adat hai mujhe nhi lagta aap ksi ladki ke samne bath lene me uncomfortable honge

Guys this is nor done..your previous target was not successfully completed but still I am giving you this early update only because of insistent of my raghavdevu..if 20 readers can like then they can comment also..raghudevu, twinkle stars and dark beauty were one who was commenting more than once just once just to fulfill the target. If this also the same happen I will not give you an early update. This time I have actually taken pain in writing such a long update. As soon as she realized her words..a familiar ache hit her heart. Randhir was too surprised to hear such words from her mouth.

Sanyukta: mai aapke bath ke liye bathroom ready karti hu

Saying this she left in the bathroom. After some time randhir entered the bathroom. Sanyukta made him sit on a near by stool. Randhir tried removing his t-shirt but after few unsuccessful attempts he fell her soft hands on his hand and within few minutes she removed his t-shirt. Sanyukta handled him a towel and turned around so that he could remove his pants wear towel upon it. After wrapping the towel randhir cleared his throat.

Sanyukta turn to face him and then she covered his plaster with a plastic bag. She then dig the mug in the bucket and with shivering hand she poured the water on his head. After few mugs..she took the body wash and started rubbing it on his hands, shoulder and chest. A shiver ran down through randhir's body, whereas sanyukta condition was no less. She then started pouring the water on his body.

Sanyukta: its done..i will get you a fresh towel.

Saying this she was about to move but due to the slippery floor her foot slipped and in order to hold her randhir instantly got up from the stool. Their bodies were sticking to each other. His wet body has slightly wet her kurti. He was holding her shoulders. Due to the sudden movment randhir lips brushed her shoulder. Sanyukta was just living the moment with closed eyes. Whereas there was a different and unknown sensation in randhir's body.

Their moment was disturb by the knock. Their instantly detached their fames. Sanyukta quicky handed him a towel and went to open the door to find a blushing hari prakash and a giggly misha.

Hari prakash (with a shy smile): bhabhi ji vo ma'am sahib ne bola ki aap hume dhund rhi thi randhir bhaiya ki nahne me madad karne ke liye.

Misha: hari prakash bhaiya..mujhe lagta hai ab ki zaurat nhi hai..apka kaam already hogya hai..hai na sanyukta bhabhi

Sanyukta was about to answer when they heard randhir shouting from the bathroom

Randhir (from inside): sanyukta kaun hai? Aur jaldi aao mai aur der wait nhi kar sakta..i need you yrr come fast.

Their eyes widen in hearing his words. Sanyukta just face palm herself knowing what must be going in their heads.

Hari prakash: vo hume lagta hai ki hume dadi ji bula rhi hai..hum baad me aate hai

Misha (looking here and there): vo mujhe bhi ek important kaam yaad agaya mai wo karke aati hu

Saying this they left an embarrassed sanyukta. Sanyukta closed the door and went back to him.

Randhir (wiping his leg): kaha reh gyi thi..kitani der se awaz laga rha tha..mujhse wipe nhi ho rha

Sanyukta (wiping his hair): aap ko galat time pe galat baat bolne ki adat hai kya...bagi thodi jaa rhi thi mai jo shor machine lag gye

Randhir : matlab..

Sanyukta: matlab ki yeh ki bahar misha aur hari prakash bhaiya the aur apne words ke replay button dabaiye aur tab aap ko meri baat ka matlab samjh me ajayega.

Thinking for few minutes randhir shocking looked towards sanyukta who gave him a sarcastic smile.After wiping him she called hari prakash to help him for dress up.
