They just stood their in silence, not knowing what to say or rather preferring nothing to speak.

"Guys" Parth intervened, "chalo, let's dance."

"Parth rehne de, thak gaye hoge sab." Randhir said

"Arey yaar, chalo na. Achha Sanyukta tum bolo isse." Parth turned towards Sanyukta

"Parth, mera bhi bilkul mann nahi hai. Tum jao" Sanyukta tried to reason

"Aise kaise mann nahi hai. Chalo." saying so Parth dragged both of them to the dance floor.

The couples moved to the soft music that played in the background.

Randhir pulled Sanyukta placing his hand on her waist as her hands found their place on his shoulders.

"Ajeeb baat hai na..." he spoke looking at Vidharth who were busy in their own world,"College mein ek dusre se itta ladhte the aur ab, ek dusre ke alawa koi aur dikhta hi nahi."

"Pyaar aisa hi hota hai Randhir, pata hi nahi chalta kab kisse ho jaye. Hai na?" She replied.

"Tumne bhi toh kiya tha na, kya mila?" He asked looking into her eyes.

"Randhir jab maine tumse pyaar liya tha, I never expected the same from you and uss din I told you everything kyu ki mujhe aage chal kar kisi bhi cheez ko leke regret nahi karna tha. But main yrh sab tumhe kyu samjha rahi hoon. You were never looking for love, tum bas apne dream, apne career pe focused the and I respect that. He was shocked at her sudden confession, his mind drifted to memories of his college life.

Sandhir and Vidharth were the best of friends.

Sanyukta always liked Randhir but he was always busy flirting with other girls.

And then finally on the last day of their college she confessed her feelings to him, he was shocked. But before he could talk to her she left, and then in the next two years he was busy settling himself in his new job. The memories of college all forgotten and then a month before when Parth called him to inform him about the wedding, he realized that even Sanyukta would be there. How was he actually gonna face her? He agreed to the fact that he was attracted to her, she made him feel the way no one else did. But love? He was confused about it.

His trance was broken by Vidhushi's voice, "Randhir tum akele? Sanyukta kahan gayi?"

"Woh... pata nahi." He replied.

"You guys ok na?" she asked concerned.

"Yeah, of course. Tum jao, main usko dhoondta hoon." he said walking away.
