RECAP: Vidushi and Parth suddenly drop in on SanDhir. Sanyu tells them about her pregancy. Sandhir decide to go visit sanyukta's parents in Delhi.

Sanyukta,randhir,parth and vidushi had a fun-filled breakfast. After eating, ViDarth left for home and sandhir left for Delhi.
OUTSIDE AGGARWAL VILLA, DELHI
Sanyukta rung the door-bell and waited outside, excited. She was pacing up and down on the front porch and laughing in her excitement. Randhir looked at her antics and laughed. He held on to her hand and pulled her close. "Kya kar rhi ho sanyukta" he said "Ese upar niche chalti rahogi toh tumhare mom ko shaq ho jayega k tum unhe koi surprise dene wali ho. Unhe toh wese bhi kuch zyada hi jaldi sabkuch pata chal jata hain" he muttered the last sentence. "Haan...woh toh hain...ek sec..what did u say? Zyada hi jaldi pata chal jata he? What do u mean ha?" she said, livid. "Arrey kuch nhi meri ma" randhir said, folding his hands "Ma aa rhi hongi, khadi raho yaha pe chupchaap"
Just then, the door opened, and Anju came out.
"Arrey!! Sanyukta..randhir beta!! Tumlog yaha..." she said, extremely surprised.
"Ma!!" Sanyukta said happily, and both of them rushed to touch her feet. "Jeete raho beta..jeete raho...Arey! Tum dono bahar kyu khade ho? Andar aao...sanyu..randhir beta..aao..chalo.." So saying, she led both of them into the house.
As sanyukta walked inside the house, she could see that the marriage preparations, that had been going on in full swing, had been stopped midway. Tears stung her eyes as she remembered the conversation with her dad a few days ago.
"Tum dono thak gye honge..hain na? Do ghante se travel krke aaye ho..tum dono fresh ho jaao, main chai banati hun. Randhir beta" she said, turning towards him "tumhaare liye main guest room khulva deti hun, tum waha jaake fresh ho jaao. Thik hain?"
Within a half an hour or so, they were all fresh and were sitting in sanyukta's old room, chatting over cups of tea.
"Wese maa...papa aur bhai kahi dikhai nahi de rahe..kahaan hain woh?" Sanyukta asked. "Woh beta tumhare papa ko factory jaana pada achanak..aur bhai ko kisi bank me kaam tha. WOh dono bas ek ad ghante me aate hi honge. Main nahi jaanti tere papa tujhe aur randhir ko yaha dekhne ke baad kya karenge. Woh kaafi gussa the tumpar...unhe lagta hain k Ankit ki shaadi tumhaari wajah se ruki. Magr tu chinta mat kar. Tu toh jaanti hain na, unka gussa. Thodi der gusa rahenge, phir sab bhul jaayenge.
"Hmm...i guess aap sahi keh rhi ho maa." said sanyu, sniffling a bit.
"Accha thike, tumdono kuch der araam kr lo...main niche khana lagane jaa rhi hu." said anju, preparing to move out. "Arey ma...ruko aap. Main bhi aati hu..apki help kr deti hu...aur...papa bhi aate honge. Unhe meri haat ki chai bohot pasand hain..toh..."
Anju smiled at her daughter, took her hand and led her out of the room.
Within a little time, Sanyukta, who was making tea in the kitchen, heard her father and brother enter through the front door. From the kitchen, she could see her dad settling down on the sofa and calling out to Anju for tea. She poured the steaming drink into the cup which was waiting for it and clasping the tray with both hands, took it to her father. He looked up, shocked at seeing her. After all, she was the one because of whom, apparently, his son failed to bring home the so-called 'perfect bahu'. But then, he must have decided to bear it through this once, for she was a guest now. He smiled at her, and took the cup of tea from her hands. Sanyukta was elated - she could give her world for that fatherly smile.
"Sanyu beta...tu! Aaj achanakse! Kesi he beta?" he asked her, as she bent down to touch his feet. "Woh..papa...apse aur ma se kuch baat karni thi...she began, nervously. "Haan bolo beta..." her father said. "Ese nhi papa...baadme batati hun. Aap..aap chai pijiye na!" She replied.
Later, after a good lunch, they were all sitting comfortably in the drawing room, talking together. Kishore and ankit still behaved a little cold with sanyukta, and it brought stinging sensations to her eyes whenever they made a particularly pointed comment. But Anju and randhir tried their best to bridge the gap. Seeing her upset, randhir tried to excite her again by reminding her of the purpose of their visit. She smiled.
"Maa...papa...woh..mujhe aapse kuch baat karni thi..matlab-mujhe aapko kuch batana tha" She said, blushing. "haan, bol sanyu beta..kya baat hain?" asked anju, curious. "Woh..ma...woh actually" she looked at randhir, and then continued "Maa woh main...main pregnant hoon."
"KYA...!!! Sacchi!! Arey, yeh toh bohot hi acchu khabar hain...kyun ji?" exclaimed her mom, visibly excited. "Haan haan anju...yeh toh badi hi acchi khabar hain!! Arrey somuuu!" kishore screamed, calling out to their young servant. Somu appeared, looking scared (bechare ko laga k ab kya kar diya maine 😆) "Ji sahab..." he said. "Arrey somu beta..ja jaake Chamanji k dukaan se mithaai ka dibba le aa...bohat badi khush khabri hain, muh toh meetha karana hi hoga na!" Kishore ordered, and Somu ran off to get the box. There was happiness everywhere...everyone seemed to have forgotten the earlier tensions over Ankit's marriage with this fresh bit of news. The news of the arrival of a new member to the family...the news of fresh addition of a set of mom, dad, daadi, daada and mama to the family. Well, thats what children do, dont they? They spread happiness in the house from even before they are born. Everyone was in the seventh heaven of delight! Well, all, that is, except...
"Sanyukta zara bahar aana toh mere saath... kuch baat karni hain tujhse" said Ankit, eyeing Randhir warily. "Um...akele mein" he said, when randhir showed signs of wanting to follow her outside. He had seen a weird look in Ankit's eyes, and had decided it was not for the good that he wanted to talk. Nevertheless, he respected his wife's privacy and stayed where he was, watching Ankit and sanyukta walk out of the door.
"Haan, bolo bhai! Kya baat hain?" asked sanyukta, as soon as they were alone. "Kya baat hain? Kya BAAT HAIN?? Sanyukta, yeh baat tum mujhe pooch rahi ho?" ankit half-screamed, livid. "Arey yeh baat toh mujhe tujhse poochni chahiye. Tujhe kya laga, k meri lie kharab karke, tu ghar ki rani banegi?? Bas pregnant hone ki news dete hi, maa aur papa mere bareme sab bhul gaye. TERI wajah se meri shadi priyanka se nahi hui, aur tu maze udaye?? Itne khushi me toh main tujhe jeene nai dunga. Tune meri life kharaab ki hain na, ab tu dekh. Kyese main teri life barbaad karta hun. Randhir hain na, tere sabse kareeb? Toh pehle woh tujhse door jayega. Phir tera yeh baccha (points to her stomach, and she clutches it, scared now) aur phir tu...sabko barbaad karunga main. Agar meri life picture-perfect nhi hain, toh KISIKI nahi hogi. Samjhi?" he said, ignoring her pale & drawn face. "Bhai..." she tried to speak. "Bhai..y..yeh aap kya keh rahe ho? Aap thik toh ho na bhai?? Aap...aap yeh ese..k..kyun bol.."
"Nahi dekh sakta teri khushiyan mei...aur dekhunga bhi nhi. Yeh khushi bohat jaldi khatam hone walai he..do u GET THAT? He screamed at her.
Meanwhile, anju and kishore were having the good old talk about "aap dada banoge" "Tum daadi ban jaogi" and all that. Randhir stood on the edge of the conversations, participating a bit, but keeping half his attention on outside the door. And as soon as he heard ankit shouting, he rushed out. Anju and kishore followed him.
He pushed open the door and the first thing he saw was sanyukta's pale white face, a tear dripping down her cheeks and Ankit's angry face. He guessed the exact situation in an instant. He SO wanted to beat the hell out of him right now, but anju and kishore were already there. Sanyukta stammered out the happenings of the past 10 mins when questioned by anju, ending with ankit getting a good old punch from randhir. He had to be quite dragged away from Ankit to stop him beating him eny more. "Ek baat yaad rakhna" randhir said, pointing a finger into ankit's face "No one...but no one gets to talk to my wife like that. Samjhe?" He shouted, leaving his collars and gathering up an extremely scared sanyukta into his arms. Kishore took him away while anju stayed back a bit, just to comfort sanyukta. But her motherly heart was well satisfied when she saw her daughter in Randhir's arms, well taken care of.
"Randhir...sanyu beta" she began. "Beta...yeh ankit ka na...zyada dhyaan me mat lena. Woh kya hain na, abhi abhi uski shaadi tuti hain-teri wajah se nahi,haan,sanyu-aur abhi abhi yeh sab bardasht nhi kar paya. Sanyu beta tu chinta mat kar, tujhe kuch nahi hoga. Abhi andar mat aa...warna tere papa phir tujhpe gussa ho jayenge. Dekho, tum dono yahase ab chale jaao. Main aur tere papa aate rahenge roorkee tumdono se milne, thik hain? Par yaha mat aana...main toh risk nahi uthana chahti. Baccha, tum dono ab ghar jaao, thike? Beta randhir" she said, turning towards randhir "tum sanyu ko sambhaal lena..."
"Aunty aap chinta mat kijiye...sanyukta bilkul thik rahegi. Accha ab ham chalte hain" so saying, he took their leave. He went back into the car and giving orders to the driver to start for home, he looked at sanyukta.
She was sitting in a corner, her head resting on the glass of the window. Her hands were clasped protectively around her stomach, a faraway look in her eyes.
Randhir got up from his place a little, and swiftly pulled sanyukta by her waist so she was now sitting close to him. She looked up into his eyes, and a tear rolled down her cheek. Randhir could see in her eyes that she was still petrified, and extremely worried for both - her child, and her randhir. She sobbed and looked away.
"Sanyukta...sanyukta look at me" he commanded. She looked up, her scared eyes meeting his determined ones. "Sanyukta...I promise you. Jabtak main zinda hun, tabtak tumhe, aur hamare bacche ko, KUCH nahi hoga. Do you get that??" he said firmly, looking into her eyes. She nodded, like a small child. Randhir immediately took her into his arms and let her sob her heart out, holding her protectively till she had calmed down.
