And he would try to accept her, flaws and all because she's as as helpless as him. And he'd admire her bravery to stand up for herself too. :)

On the other hand Vidushi could tell him the truth and tell him age doesn't want anyone's pity.

He could say I don't Pity you.

You are brave and I now understand why you had to do a few things.
