Scene 17
Amrit comes forward to assist Sharvan in conveying his message to Bebo.
" He brought this for today's special occasion for his pasand with apni pasand"
After Bebo accepts Sharvan's gift, Amrit says: Pls open to see what he chose for you.

Scene 18
Bebo tells Prabjot to call the person accompnaying Sharvan.
Prabjot says Amrit !! I'll just call him now.
She goes on the balcony and tells Amrit that Bebo is calling him.
Amrit comes in the room and says yes ?
Bebo turns around and asks him how do I look ?
Amrit sees her and then laughs.
Bebo is disappointed and says I knew this.
Amrit says no I didn't mean that. You look absolutely beautiful but Sharavn doesn't spprove of this heavy jewellary.
Bebo says now what do I do ?
Amrit says now when you have called your friend, then just leave it on him. Bebo smiles approvingly and Amrit tells her to take a seat.
He removes her dupatta and then takes off her tika. The old lalala music is on.
Amrit then takes off her earrings and necklace. He then carefully selects another jeweallary set, a lighter one. They continue to converse in between. Then he makes her wear the new earrings and necklace and drapes the dupatta. He tells her now you look like Sharvan's pasand.

Amrit comes into Bebo's room where all the prajis n parjaiji are gathered as well. Amrit says you''ll have to agree with two thing i say. Bebo turns around on her stool and says what ?
Amrit says the first is that I have a great dressing sense. Bebo smiles approvingly.
And the second one is that we are the larkay wala, so you'll have to get ready according to our choice.
Bebo says but I'm already dressed up according to your dressing choice.
Amrit says still being the larkey wala we can tell you to do this again as well.
Amrit looks towards para ji n parjai ji assuring them.
Daljeet then says so what if you are larke wala... we too are larki waley, giving you our girl.. you are fortunate enough...
Amrit says oh please, larki waley are always crying, they don't know anything else.
Bebo disapprovingly says no it's not like that.
Amrit says then you better prove it. I'll say some things and you don't have to cry but keep smiling. Do you agree ?
Bebo says agreed !!!
Amrit says but all of this is going to be absolutely true, nothing fake.
He starts: Sharvan is a very nice boy, he'll always keep you happy. His parents will never let you feel that you are not in your maayka but sasural. Bebo continues to smile.
Amrit says good... Everyone will treat you like a princess. The wedding will take place in Amritsar and you will be able to meet you family whenever you wish..... Sharvan has a badi maa whom he dearly loves. But she is not feeling well. She wishes to see Sharvan as a dulha but she is very ill. Anything can happen to her. That is why today you and Sharvan are not getting engaged but ... but married.
Bebo is obviously shocked to hear this but she controls her emotions. Amrit himself is unable to control his emotions and turns away. Bebo stops him and asks him that didn't we the larki waley win then ?
Amrit wipes his tear and turns around. He says Yes, I said that the larki waley always cry but the win always comes to those who know how to bear pain. Our victory now lies in your win. And Amrit leaves with teary eyes.
