I think you have missed some earlier episodes of the show as Saru was quite prominent at that time. However Saru is Bebo's eldest parjai ji ( sister-in-law). Saru is Ashok's wife and the eldest daughter-in-law of the Narangs. She is a very nice character , always polite and helpful to others.
Currently she is expecting.

well after rano left, AmBo met with an accident and after that what happened then here is a link of Short update after AmBo accident
