A little about your character in Saathi Re?
I pay the character of Suman. She's a typical Gujarati girl, very homely and reserved by nature. She is the ideal Indian bahu material. The story revolves around her love story and becomes a sort of love triangle. It is all about how she balances her previous love and her married life.
Is there another man or woman in the picture?
Well I am in love with Prem but marry somebody else.
Why is that so?
It is just to please her parents, as her family is very important to her. She respects her parents a lot. She is not the sort to oppose her parents.
Does she continue her affair with Prem?
She does not meet Prem after the marriage nor is in touch with him. However, she still loves him. It is a bit like Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam.
As you read in the article she says that Prem and Suman do not meet after marriage--not true! So what so you all think?
