contradiction between rajiv and suman

No wonder why people like and love Rajiv most. Today I was watching the serial and this topic just strike in my mind.

Here we have two people Rajiv and suman. Apart from similarity between them, there is a strong contradiction in their character. Remember when because of his kakima, Rajiv was in a puzzle to whom to marry suman or vishakha as one is his love and other one is his kakima's choice. He took advise of suman and what she said "FOR HER FAMILY COMES FIRST AND HER LOVE SECOND. SHE CANT RUIN HER FAMILY'S DREAM BECOZ OF HER OWN DREAM." Rajiv followed of what she said and decided to marry vishakha and sacrifice his love.

And when suman went through the same situation, i.e. to make a choice between Rajiv and prem, she forgot what she said and decided to marry prem by going against her family's dream. And today what she did was awful. Taking part in her own marriage sangit and giving hopes to Rajiv, his family and her own parents and making wish of prem's coming back, this is not suitable to a girl like suman. This is ridiculous. This prove that she is selfish and don't think about her own parents and Rajiv and his family.

This is the basic difference between suman and Rajiv and for this quality of Rajiv people love him and like him the most.

yeah you are right. suman really has to think about what she says to others and what she thinks for her own life--they two very different things. so sad that she cannot see the truth right in front of her. she is hurting both prem and rajeev--what a bad girl 😭

i agree with you. initially suman's portrya her character as if she is a strong minded, sacrificing and understanding girl. but what we have seen for the past few episodes, she behave exactly opposite.she has a puzzle mind (most of the time do wht chaitali say), selfish (only think about her and prem) and non
understanding nature (if she has understanding nature then she think twice before calling prem to come to india and talk to her father just day before her marraige with rajiv). she is not at all ideal girl from any angel.

rajiv is on other side showed a quality of strong mind,
sacrificing, caring and understanding nature. that's why he is the hero of the show.

wow, i didn't even think of that... she has been selfish and she isn't the ideal "indian girl" like they portray her to be!
