I was having major internet issues all day yesterday and could not log on. I wasn't able to watch the episode either. Here is a brief recap that they showed today.
Recap: Rekha is arguing with Ranjit saying she can talk to her sister in any way she likes. Ranjit tells her that she is crossing her limits. Abhay is telling Rekha that he thinks something is going on between Jags & Ranjit. Jags is reading a letter written by Ranjit asking her to meet him at 8pm in the garden. Rekha is yelling at Jags saying you are going after my husband. Jags replies saying didi for your own benefit you will throw me under a bus and play with anyone's life. Just then Uday walks in.
Uday says I am ashamed of calling you my mom. Rekha says what I did was for your own benefit, I knew it from day 1 that this Lajwanti is not of your level. He tells her to be quiet, and anyone who has a wife like Lajwanti is a blessing in their life. (abhay, LZ & LJ are all standing there listening). Uday reminds her of all that Lajwanti has done for the family, you never ever understood how much your son loves Lajwanti. He says I know that my marriage was a compromise but Lajwanti made a place for herself in my heart. Today this relationship wouldn't be on the rocks if I wasn't mislead. He says today he isn't able to look at her eye to eye, and its all my fault - the reason for all this is you Mom. Rekha tells him that he is blind in her love. Uday says yes I am blind, she came into our family, but you are my mother and no mother ever separates her two kids who are in love. No-one will believe anything but I will show everyone your true face.
Abhay walks upto Uday and tells him that I tried telling you all this but - Uday says I know I didn't listen to you as I was blinded my mothers love due to which I couldn't see or hear the truth. He says I realized this today that a mother can also be your enemy. Rekha tells him not to say such things as what I have done is for ur good.
Uday at this point is quite angry with her, he asks her what good have you done with Abhay & Leeza. He asks her why did she do all this. He turns to Abhay and says that the truth is always bitter and today the truth that I found out about my mom is also very bitter and we must tell the entire family about all this. Otherwise LZ & LJ will never get their respect and honor that they deserve or entitled to. They all start to walk out - then Rekha stops them saying if they told anyone any of this then I will tell Uma's in-laws about her abortion. Abhay says how can you do this - she is your daughter. Uday says if she can ruin my married life then its nothing for her. Uday says from now I am dead for you. Rekha is upset and sad hearing Uday say this. He has tears in his eyes and looks at her and walks away.
Jags in her room is pacing, when Rekha comes in saying you ran away from there leaving me by myself. Jags says its not that but this is the first time in life that I got very nervous. Rekha says I don't care about anyone, but today my son spoke to me in this manner and also for those two girls, but I wont admit defeat. Jags tells her to stop, enough is enough, and to give up. Now no-one can separate Uday & LJ. Rekha says she will not give up.
In their room - Uday & LJ are sitting. He is telling her that he still cant believe that my own mother can do this, now I just hate her and will always hate her. She tells her that he is wrong and asks him to promise her that he'll never hate his own mom. As a mother can never want any ill on her own son, I am sure she did what she did thinking its all for your own good. Uday tells her what are you made of, you are saying this even after all that she has done to us. I love you Lajwanti and they hug.
Lajwanti & Uday are in their room, and song is playing in the background and they have some cute moments. Next morning LJ comes downstairs, LZ is happy in seeing her asks her what happened with Uday. LJ gets shy and tells her to leave it. LZ tells her that she must tell her or she wont let her go. LJ tells her whatever happened between you and Abhay. They laugh. Then all of a sudden LJ has tears in her eyes. She says today she is tears of happiness. LZ says now what's next. LJ says that she will keep a fast for Karvachauth. LZ asks her what that is. LJ tells her about Karvachauth.
Rekha is in her room thinking about what Uday has said to her. She is pacing in her room thinking in her head that she will not let Uday hate her and will not let herself become a laughing matter in front of the family. Just then Ranjit wakes up asking her why she is up so early. She just tells him to go back to sleep. Rekha is thinking more saying that I have the upper hand as I know Uma's secret.
Abhay & Uday are sitting when LJ & LZ walk in. Uday tells them that they think its time we tell everything to the entire family. It is our responsibility to save Uma's marriage, & about mom no-one will talk to her. If she brought up Uma's situation then the family will hate her. LZ tells her that whatever has to be done must be done fast as we are going to fast for karvachauth. It's your responsibility to solve this problem now. Saying this LZ & LJ leave. Uday says we must do something as it's a big day for Lajwanti and Leeza.
The family is gathered around the dining table when Uday & Abhay come. He tells them that he wants to tell them all something. Rekha says first eat breakfast, the entire family is here, you can tell them after breakfast whatever you want to. He looks at her suspiciously. Just then the door bell rings. Lajjo goes to open the door and it's Uma & her husband at the door.
