Modi Family - Repeated Mistakes

Kokila - Always behind everyone's life and takes her own decisions without caring a dawn about how others likes and dislikes and their feelings. She blames people without knowing the other side of the story. She does not listen to anyone at that time and goes out of control. She finds out the truth only when it comes to her heart and regrets for the same. She apologizes to all at that time but after few days, she is back to her old self and repeats the same mistake.

Gopi - She is dependent on conveying the news, information or the forthcoming danger to the concerned person personally. Despite having a smart phone, she does not send the text message to the person to whom she wants to convey something that is important. If she cannot convey it when they are at home, she can do that when she is going out alone. When the family comes to know the truth and accuse her for hiding the fact, she comes out with the reason that she didn't get an opportunity to convey whereas there are numerous ways to communicate.

Ahem- The most unpredictable character in this show. Has been a mamma's boy. Very much spineless but gets the backbone when it comes to his mother. He does not think of anything beyond himself. He takes a rash decision and apologizes only when he gets to know the truth and the value of his loved ones. He shows overflowing love but back to his old self when there are any misunderstandings or crisis.

Hetal - She is less controlling and kind-hearted but is spineless. Is quite content to see Kokila handling all the responsibilities. She seldom raises her voice.

Other members - The less said the better.

I agree with Kokila's point. She does think she's always right.

Compared to other men, Ahem does have a role to play. But other men hardly has a role. Gopi has made more mistakes in not communicating properly. Though she knew about Meera's cheeeharan, she didn't tell Ahem.

Btw, I would like to add one more thing about Gopi. She is over dependent on kokila. When she senses any danger or trouble, kokila is the first person to know about it than anyone else. In this track she directly confronted and slapped premlatha and got on this mess. She should have told this to Ahem about whatever she saw and shown him the receipt she got. She should have made him speak to the person from whom Premlatha ordered. To be on a safer side, she should have told this to Jigar too.

If Gopi or any other character behaved logically, there wouldn't be such drama in SNS. This show is simply running on such mindless drama.

Biggest issue with this show is ladies have no self respect or any morals. There is only one woman who has genuine relationship with her husba6- hetal.

Gopi has also done a lot of stupid things. One of the memorable things is washing the laptop with water. Even a 5 year old kid knows what will happen even if a single drop of water falls on any electronic item.

Gopi had stepped out of her marriage as per her whims to an extent. When Ahem is nice to her, she takes him for granted. Even he became a doormat ever since he had made up with her. More than a good wife, she has been a good DIL. Of course, Ahem is responsible for it. He didn't give her the rights of a wife initially & that mistake brought Gopi close to Kokila.

When Gopi got to know that Urmila had framed Kokila in sex determination, she shouldn't have spent her time with Urmila. She should have gone directly to the police & shown it there. If that didn't happen, she should have made a phone call or messaged any of the family members.

Before Meera's accident, she didn't inform anyone about her second pregnancy. She gave the same old excuse "Maine batane ki bahut koshish ki lekin mujhe mouka nahin mila." That too after her return. She used this dialogue on many occasions. There are many ways to communicate. Even if she had told anybody in the house about her pregnancy, it would have reached Ahem. Or she could have sent him a text message.

She then made a mistake of giving Rashi Jr. to Radha. If she had not done it, that murder would have been avoided.

Even to stop Shravan-Vidya wedding, she should have taken Karunesh's photo frame to Kokila.

Now, she is repeated the mistake of spending time with Premlatha after getting the evidence about her real identity & she has invited trouble for herself. She should have understood that such people wouldn't be alone. They will be in a team. She had plenty of evidence to tell this to Ahem.

What she needs to do is to expose that person directly instead of wasting her time in bhashans.

In that way, Kokila exposes people better as she will talk to that person directly in front of all the family members. But then she blamed Gopi on Meera's drowning incident without knowing the other side of the story. She did the same mistake in Karunesh's case too.

When she got to know Radha's truth, she should have taken Meera home & dealt with Radha in front of all & brought her misdeeds to light. 8 years was more than enough. The CV's should have wrapped up this track. Kokila accident track was needless.

Durga is doormat as of now. But can't predict how the CV's will take it.

Agree with everything said here..just like white-rose..im more disgusted abt how the women are portrayed..doormats,tyrants, potential homewreckers,too sweet to be true..etc etc..the cvs are the ones who shld be get kicked ..their scripts suck..and the actors get the flak..

In her defence I would like to add she was beyond illiterate. Urmila never allowed her to go out and learn basic thing. Her world was kitchen, jaadu pochha and saaf safai. She didn't know there is a life outside chawl of Urmila.

I don't think laptop was a big issue for Modis? They were super rich and could afford 100 laptops. They are overreacting on laptop matter, even we end up spoiling our electronic items when we very much know everything about it. Modis crying for some 30000 to 40000 laptop look ridiculous. If issue was data stored in laptop then one should always keep backup of important data. Save it on Google drive or drop box. May be it was not available 18 years back then save it in pen drive, memory card, CD, floppy or whatever was available at that time.

When I saw that scene, I too felt the same as what you have said in the second paragraph. It was Ahem who overreacted. Jigar pacified him and said that he has the backup of those files. Kokila blasted Rashi for misguiding her. Ahem was also angry when the school kids had broken his laptop keyboard while switching it on. That was the time he openly told that he does not want a child.

Gopi's only mistake at the beginning of the show was she has been believing Rashi, knowing that she has been misguiding her and that is very much annoying. Even that comes under not having any self respect. If she was getting confused about cleaning the laptop, she should have asked Kokila or Hetal how to do it. Gopi is at least now much better than she was at the beginning of the show.

Durga is a doormat. She has surpassed Gopi in this respect.
