Theme not wrong. The majority of the trouble befalling the Modis lie with her blinkered trust and inibility to judge people correctly. How many times did gopi warn about masterji but kokila took no notice. If she had then Rashi would still be alive.
Kokila was judging people correctly till Radha's entry in MM. After that she's gone off nuts. However she has got the habit of judging people without knowing the other side of the story. In fact she did the same thing to Radha after she created a rift between Jigar and Rashi. She blasted Radha instead of asking her why she did that. Only because of this she has made a lot of enemies.
She directly blamed Gopi for Meera's drowning incident instead of asking her how she fell from her hands to the pond though she knows that Gopi cannot harm anyone especially her own daughter.
In masterji's case it was because of Rashi that Kokila didn't kick him out although she could have done it. But that is not an excuse as she always took her own decisions and thrusted her views on others.
Just because Gopi forgives her easily that doesn't mean that others will do the same.
