Today's episode starts with Kokila allaying Gopi's fears that with Ahem being upset that she will lose him again, ie that he will start hating her. Kokila says that won't happen and make excuses for his anger.

At SM Meera is surveying the garden and looks with disgust at the cactus. Gaura arrives and decides to give the gardener a hand. While Meera bends to smell a flower, Gaura puts a potted rose bush near here. Meera straightens up and walks straight into the thorns, scratching her bare legs as she had chosen to wear a t shirt and shorts. On the pretext of helping Gaura makes Meera walk into another thorned bush, scratching her legs even more. She then applies salt to her hands and touches Meera's wounds making her shout.

In between Shravan is upset and Durga tries to console him.

Gopi is in the kitchen deep in thought and Kokila once again tries to comfort her. Gopi tries Ahem's phone but he cuts the call.

Meera is in the bedroom tending to her legs and thinks what to wear. She looks for a salwar but she only has churidars - too tight - or sarees. Dharam comes with Durga and tells her to drape a sari on Meera.

Durga dresses Meera and tells her that she is so lucky, having a sister who thinks so much of her that she returned to her in laws for her only. Meera stops to think and then sends Durga away.

Kokila finds out from Vidya about the new ritual and warns her to stay alert.

Shravan tries to help Vidya but she turns him down, reminding him of his betrayal. Durga calls Vidya down for the ritual.

Gaura and Dharam are waiting. Gaura is rude to Durga and sends her to get the tray. Vidya and Meera arrive and Gaura tells them about the ritual and unveils a pair of chappals. Both girls are puzzled. Either they are thinking that they are going to hit each other or be beaten. Gaura tells them that one of the rituals is for the daughter in laws to smack three times with the chappal on the wall behind the red curtain. Meera hesitates but Gaura tells her to do it. Meera smacks the wall three times. It comes to Vidya's turn. However, she wants to see what exactly she is hitting.

Pre cap. Gaura unveils Kokila's portrait. Vidya refuses to hit it and tussles with Gaura.
