Basically, Kokila has a sister called Jigna whom Guara's brother loved. But Kokila had a misconception that Guara's brother was harassing Jigna and so, everyone hated Guara's brother in the village. Hence, they had to move out of the community/village. But then, Guara's brother committed suicide by burning himself and Guara also got blind in one eye because she was trying to save him.

In short, Guara's brother died because of Kokila's misunderstanding and that's why she wants to take revenge by destroying Kokila's family.
