its just disgusting and pathetic for sp to encourage these type of cheap things that a old man getting married to a grl who is his sons age

Same! I loved Vandana in Khichdi, she's such an amazing actress 👏

I don't know about Urmila, I'd rather Meera do things herself. Urmila's character has changed drastically.

People are just quick to show negativity without even giving new ideas a try. I know most people don't marry someone with such a huge age gap but it doesn't mean it's wrong.

But Saathiya has shown so many ridiculous things in the past. Don't you think it was wrong for Rashi and her mum to lie and get her married to Jigar? But at the end it all worked out didn't it. Radha got Jigar to get her pregnant somehow 🤢. Wasn't that wrong? It's just a show, don't take it too seriously 😊

And Amar Upadhay may be older than Tanya but he ain't old okay 😳 And Star Plus isn't the only channel who has shown this, Kasam se was just like this and Bani/Jai couple was HUGE!

Now it just depends on how the show portrays the relationship which will determine whether it's wrong or not. (If the rumours are true)

Previously, Jigar was drug-raped by Radha.

Both these serious crimes went unpunished. As a viewer I'm more concerned with these type of disgusting and pathetic scenes being shown.

In comparison, older man marrying girl younger than son is nothing. And there's nothing new about the concept either. It's been done many times on indian TV.

exactly, atleast marrying a old guy is not a crime, she is doing it by will not by force

People are just fed up with the amount of misery that is churned out on this show on a regular basis. 😆 We were hoping to at least have some light-hearted tracks with the new generation. Instead they are throwing us into another high drama, torturous track.

If Meera and Dharam do end up getting married, it will probably be out of helplessness to save her sister for Meera and revenge for Dharam.

Tbh I'm kinda unfazed by the whole thing because I've seen so many Indian TV shows in the past few years that this type of track doesn't really shock me so much. 😆 I think it's pretty run-of-the-mill stuff. It's actually reminding me of Bandini which starred Ronit Roy. Amar's look in the show seems inspired from Ronit Roy in that show. Even the name, there it was Dharamraj. Every long running show eventually ends up resembling an Ekta Kapoor show. 😆

We don't know that yet. Meera and Dharam marriage is not 100% confirmed, though I admit it looks likely. However, Dharam could end up being a very negative character. Let's not forget his mother is out to destroy the Modi family.

I think it's best to wait and see how the story unfolds.

That's what I thought to that people have had enough of craziness in this show so they're not looking forward to anymore lol

I actually hated the new leap cus I always hate leaps in shows, takes away so many years of the characters development. But ever I heard of Vandana and Amar entering the show, my interest returned :D

@Bold Ditto! But I still like this track cus I just love love/hate relationships. Going by the rumours it's going to be like that. Haven't watched Bandini but yeah Amar's character resembles Ronit Roy's. Ronit played Mihir and now Amar is playing Dharamraj 😆
