We meet in MM. Ahem scolds Gaura for her act, telling her that she did not do right. She in turn silences him and asks Kokila if this is how she raised her son ( if she saw Kinjal she'd be asking a lot more). She says that Ahem has no manners or civility. She turns to Kokila and wants to meet the family.
Kokila shows her Baa. Gaura goes to Baa and says that her MIL died many years ago yet she is still alive. The family are put out. Kokila starts to explain but Baa stops her. When Gaura bends to take her blessings Baa pinches her ear. There is good natured banter between the two.
In between the Trekkers, Meera, Vidya, Tolu and Molu are shown in lush countryside. Vidya tires but is encouraged by the others to keep going. At one point Meera stumbles but is saved by Vidya. Both girls become covered in mud. Whilst Meera uses the last of the water to clean herself Vidya waits until they reach the lake.
Gaura meets Hetal, complains a little but hugs her too. She then goes to Kokila and asks if she did not tell her family about her. When Gopi tries to speak Gaurav rudely stops her, stunning everyone.
Gaura points her finger at Gopi and says not to call her Gauraji, she smiles and instead tells her to call her massiji. She is impressed with Gopi.
At some point Dhawal rings Hetal and tells her that they have somewhere and everything is fine. Kinjal is upset with the place, the food, Dhawal not taking them to a five star hotel and lack of money.
Gaura had brought corn on the cob in the earthenware pot and shares it with Kokila. Meethi brings water, Gaura drinks a little and then takes the tray, beating a rhythm on it. She pulls Ahem up about his scowling face and warns him that he is a father so she left him otherwise she would have taken his pants down and paddled him. She says he should look at elders with respect.
Gopi defends him and says that they treat elders with respect but if anyone hurts their mother, then they too will be upset as is Ahem's case. Gaura is pleased with the reasoning and taps on the tray. Gopi then butters her even more by complimenting her profession. Gaura is mightily pleased and compliments that her daughter does not behave or act like an illiterate. Shocked faces again. Gaura explains that the whole village spoke that she had got an illiterate girl for her educated son. She is only passing on what she has heard.
Kokila explains that Gopi was illiterate but she has educated her. This pleases Gaura even more and she proclaims that she is jealous.
The trekkers reach camp. Vidya decides to go to the lake to wash. While there she loses her footing and struggles in the water. The new entry pops out of the water and after a while he sees Vidya struggling and goes to her. He also sees a scorpion on the back of her shirt. He moves towards her and rightly she is scared and tells him to stay back. He reaches her, removes the scorpion and throws it to the shore. Vidya is still unaware, pushes him away and runs off.
In MM Gaura is eating the corn and accuses Kokila of ruling the house. Baa and Hetal may be there but it is Kokila's rule despite Kokila saying the contrary.
Pre cap. Kokila asks Gaura about her family, her husband and brother. At the mention of the brothers name Gaura's face becomes angry.
