Saath Nibhana Saathiya 3rd July 2015 - Written Update

The Episode starts with Meera saying that she is not going to do household work as those chores are only meant to be done by uneducated women. Ahem and Jigar try their best to make Meera understand how and what the things stand for ; but Meera argues further.

Kokila shifts gear and gives a lecture on Womanhood and equality among men and women. Kokila says that all of them, from Baa to Paridhi, are all well-educated. Hetal is Graduate, so is Paridh. Baa says she is from old school of thought but studied up to tenth ; and read all the mythological teaching books, like the four Vedas. Meera is reminded that she was thrown out of college for misbehaviour, as far as Meera Being Educated and smart.

Kokila says that as far as her mother Gopi is concerned ; though Gopi was illiterate in the beginning, Gopi learnt and educated herself, the hard way and is capable to teach one and all.

Kokila further says they all do the household work so that the menfolk have of security, earn for the family, their comfort and happiness. As far as equality is concerned, in bringing up them, Meera and Vidya, Ahem had learnt to cook and do the housework. Paridhi says that Jigar and his boys know few things to cook. Shoulder to shoulder.

Kokila then says if and when required they can all work and support the men shoulder to shoulder. Facing Life is Learnt The Hard Way.

Meera again does protest, says she will not do the housework but had to agree when Kokila reminds Meera of the conditions laid down by Kokila, that Meera does live at Modi Home on Kokila's terms..

Meera agrees but away from everybody's earshot, says she will do the housework only for few days and then rebel ; also teach Gopi a lesson.

Dawal calls Kokila and discuss Kinjal ; tells something about the jewelry and he is mild sort of guy, he never is the one to raise the voice but he did so at Kinjal, Kokila tells that he is not at fault, comforts him and whatever he has done is right, also would speak to Urmilaa.

Ahem and Gopi meet Kokila and tell her that they feel that Kokila is wrong in being tough with Meera, but Kokila makes them understand that the path undertaken is right to straighten out Meera, citing similar instance.

The next morning, Ahem and Gopi decide to support and help Kokila by taking on the responsibility of getting Meera to the right path.
