Has Meera forgotten those days when Gopi was helping her to prepare for her Maths exams & checking whether she did the sums correctly or not? Even Vidya remembers Gopi being a teacher in her school. So how can Meera call her as zahil? At least Ahem opened his mouth & told her to mind her tongue.

Gopi was illiterate not is illiterate. There is a vast difference between was & is. Gopi must have improved her qualification & has taken drawing & craft as specialization to teach that in school. She might have done some other job & did B.Ed to teach in school. That is what I can presume.

Leaving the CV's logic apart, I would say that practically it is not possible to focus on one particular track for a long time. Even in movies, they show the leads as kids but grow up within 5 minutes because of time constraints.

So according to me, Gopi is qualified though she might not be a post graduate.
