Saath Nibhana Saathiya 1st May 2015 - Written Update

The show kick starts with Gopi looking at Ahem's arm on her waist ; after hesitating to remove the arm, she almost puts her palm on Ahem's cheek. At this very moment Kokila coughs or clears her throat. So Gopi gets up wondering why Ahem was sleeping on her mattress, alongside her.

Then, Gopi finds out about the wet mattress of Ahem, which had got wet due to the water from the fallen water bottle. Gopi clears up the mess and spreads a blanket and sleeps away from Ahem.

Later in the morning Kokila after see the interchange of the sleeping area of the estranged couple ; wonders what had taken place ; Urmilaa comes in and adds more embarrassing comments which makes both Ahem and Gopi blush.

Kinjal is woken up by Manasi in the dead of night, a sleepy Kinjal wakes up muttering her way of addressing Urmilaa. Manasi updates a sleepy Kinjal of the Gopi Manasi cell phone conversation. When Manasi suggest that they go immediately to Shah home ; Kinjal says only the dead move about at this unearthly hour. She further says anything else is for the morrow.

Morning time at Modi home and Shah home - Cell Phonic talk ; Baa, Hetal and Paridhi pull Gopi's legs, making Gopi blush and inwardly happy. Kokila comes behind her, Gopi hands over the Cell Phone, while saying that the main mischief maker is Kokila ; Gopi rushes away blushing.

Kokila and Paridhi, Hetal & Baa makes plans for the next move to get Ahem closer to Gopi ; in the background, Kinjal and Manasi eavesdrop.

Paridhi is followed by Kinjal, Manasi duo ; Paridhi at the Shah compound is met by a lady, Surabhi / Suruchi and they go indoors. Kinjal and Manasi try to listen through the main door but cannot hear a sound, they go elsewhere, to what looked like an exhaust opening. Kinjal climbs on top of a reluctant, kneeling Manasi, as Kinjal tries to record the scene, with the cell phone ; garbage falls on top of them ; cell phone breaks, 😆 😆 tries again with Manasi's cell phone, but the meeting is over.

While Ahem is fetching a pail of water, his pail is replaced by the Gujarthi woman. While Ahem tries to remind of the norms of collecting water, that is, first come first serve basis ; the said lady picks up an argument with Ahem that Ahem living in a big house does not really know the norms of the smaller neighbourhood ; and he who had left his Mother as a destitute should not preach, etc., etc. Also being married, he is living with another woman, deserting his pious wife. Somewhere here ; the lady says everyone used to call them as Rama - Seetha Couple. Much is said and Ahem is spellbound and had no answer.

In comes Gopi and starts her defense of her husband Ahem. Says Gopi ; that what does the lady know of her husband, Ahem ? that his mother cares for her son, when Ahem learnt that his mother is / was ill, left his work and came to live in a small neighbourhood home, leaving behind his Palace like home. Just for the sake of his mother.

Gopi further goes onto say ; that Ahem on his own brought up and imbibed good attitude and behaviour to the girls. Vidya, listening from above, on the verandah, has a flashback of Meera and her rude behaviour to Gopi ; Ahem is stunned. Gopi is not finished yet ; says further, Ahem married an illiterate like her ; made her literate ; made her knowledgeable and face the world confidently ; gave her two beautiful daughters Meera and Vidya ; Ahem is a good son, husband and a father.

Gopi then holds Ahem by his wrist and walks away, hand in hand. Kinjal and Manasi are left standing open mouthed.

Vidya is emotional with tears flowing profusely down her cheeks.

Upstairs, inside the Shah home ; Kokila praises Gopi and Ahem looks grateful and is in awe of Gopi . so also is Vidya ; when in enters the spoilsport duo od Kinjal, Manasi.

Kinjal says applause for a well enacted drama by Gopi and orchestrated by Kokila. Ahem caution her with what rubbish is she talking ; Little Raashi says foul smell is in the air ; and Urmilaa says both Kinjal and Manasi had not bathed for few days.

Ahem is in a thoughtful mood.
