I am loving this Gopi standing up for herself. True she should stand up to all the bullies. The ones who compel her to do as their will, Baa, Hetal etc.
But then she did question them as to why they stood by and watched the family fall apart and did nothing to resolve the situation. It remains to be seen what her attitude towards them will be when Kokila forces Gopi to go back to Modi Bhavan. And that is exactly my point. Kokila calls the shots all the time and Gopi obediently follows her commands. In the past if Gopi did something that Kokila did not agree with, then she was punished (e.g. making her wear the mask, breaking her relationship with her when Jigar left home with Paridhi etc.)
At the engagement when Kokila said to Gopi that you should have listened to me and stopped this engagement at once, then you would not have seen this day, I liked it when Gopi said that if Ahem has made up his mind what can I do? If Ahem needs to be forced to change his decision, then it is just not worth it. He needs to understand all on his own.
I understand that Kokila has always been the closet thing to a mother for Gopi. But as a mother, she needs to let Gopi make her own decisions instead of emotional blackmailing her to 'unite the family'.
As for Baa and Hetal, they are lost cases. 😆
