Actually its very hard to see a replacement for Rucha ,because her character was vibrant and many shades which she portrayed beautifully ,and cvs wanted to give the same type characterization to paridhi. But yes, I agree. It was too rushed. It would have been good if they had done a leap of a few months at least so that we could see how the family were coping without Rashi.

I liked the original concept for the new character that was reported, that a businesswoman would come into Jigar's life, they would eventually get married and she would find it difficult to adapt to life in the Modi household. Adding a modern, independent girl into the mix would have been interesting to see. Oh well...
