That's probably because he's only had a relationship with Vidya for the last two months, whereas he and Meera had bonded for two years! It not that he loves one more than the other, but the fact that Vidya can't replace Meera. Also CVs have to show the family really thinking about meera because that is inadvertently the track that is coming up... meera's exposure to the family.
