Being good holds no value? Rashi and Gopi....

Inspite of doing all the kalakaris, Rashi gets love from her husband and all the family members. Everyone is worried about her. Jigar was actually on the verge of crying. On the other hand for being a selfless pure soul, Gopi gets hatred, lots if it. Nobody cares about her. I mean, it's like this in real life also no. Good people are always exploited or taken for granted while people who are smart have a ball. So unfair.

Well- it is high time the CVs turn this around and show how Gopi's goodness is noticed and accepted and Rashi's kalakaris are not- the Modis have to show that they are not fools; and as a hard knock back to Koki- they should Gopi bringing good luck to their home, not bad luck as Koki mentioned. It is exhausting to keep seeing the same old victimisation of someone who is good.

Just being good is not enough if you aren't firm enough.. Being a polite human being never works in real life...Gopi is good but she is way too polite because of which it is easy to be on top of her...

In real life you have to be like Kokila, good at heart but firm from outside, so that people do not take advantage of you. And btw people like Gopi do not exist in today's world..

Politeness never hurt anyone and is a redeeming quality. What is needed is for a person to be self assured, believe in your self and ensure that your helpfulness is never taken advantage of. Self respect is the key word.

So being innocent and good doesn't work! People just take a ride of such persons. One needs to be super smart too to avoid taken advantage of. This applies even to your own family members. How ironic right? People need a good person in their lives but when they get one, they don't respect the kindness instead take advantage of them unfairly and turn the good ones into bitter.

I have seen number of people like Gopi in my life friend. People and situations just don't let them stay that pure for long. They are taken for a ride again and again and again. We always get irritated shy Gopi doesn't answer back, but you know in real life too many people (good ones) silently bear the abuse of others, say husbands/wives, in-laws, bosses or in some cases even parents! They don't answer back or rebel because they are just not equipped with such qualities. They fear repercussions unlike the other person. The other person immediately understands this fear and continues taking undue advantageof it but never stops and respects the politeness or kindness. That is automatically ignored. This cycle can only break when the good person takes a stand and stops being kind. You understand the irony here?

People these days in Kaliyug, think that everything is fair, everyone is doing, why cannot I? so they are not confident enough or they don't have belief in them that the goodness is the way and only way for any success. People do succeed by doing things, but those are short lived. Even today they think, life is short, so do whatever you can to achieve, but they don't care how... but hey at the end Sathyamev Jayte..😛.. I really do hope the CVs show that good always wins over evil, but so far they have always made UrShi win and they always got away with their evil doings... thus Rashi gets love form all...

I really hope they show good wins. All that Gopi has gone through in the past is brushed away with a simple " apni fayide ke liye kiya hogi !! So they are showing Gopi could as well have been oblivious of all their troubles and did nothing about them and been selfish. I really hope there is a twist in the end, a good one :-)

SNS has always managed to do that.. For around a year and a half we suffered the atrocity of Rashi and her mother who were probably the cruelest to Gopi but all Rashi got was a few days at RN. Gopi almost died and then brought Rashi back.

The same applies to every tormentor of hers. Ahem, Kokila.. Neither apologized for their ghastly behavior. In reverse, they feel that they have given Gopi everything she did not have and hence she should be grateful.🤢

There are 2 reasons while Gopi's goodness never works IMHO.

1) Her need to satisfy and keep everyone happy.

This is never going to happen. Gopi can stand on her head but there is no way that everyone will be happy at all times. Even now, Gopi could have avoided all this heartache if she had just stayed with Vidya at MM without doing anything around. But Gopi had to make Hetal and Baa happy, even if it meant taking the abuse. Gopi is a good person. She is just naive to think that she has to agree and accept everything others say to keep them happy.

2) Gopi will never put her own happiness in front of others.

This may sound selfless but it actually does nothing to help. There are times when we have to put others in front of ourselves and do things that may not probably give us joy but one should'nt make a constant habit of it.
If we are not true to ourselves, then we are not being true to anyone in the longer run. Imagine...

If Gopi had only been true to her happiness right at the beginning of her marriage and instead of taking all the abuse, had one day told Ahem and Koki that she has had enough, that she will do her duty but not the demolition of her self respect.. If only she had stood up to Rashi and told her on the numerous occasions she took the blame that she will not do it, for Rashi's own good... things would have been different.
One sometimes has to be true to be kind and a little bit firm. Gopi lacks that quality. She will never ever tell her abuser that enough is enough. She will never put herself in front of others because it is 'selfish'..
People hence trample all over her and call her selfish anyway. It makes no difference because at the end of the day, they know that even if they are wrong, Gopi will forgive in no time. She actually will not even complain.
