I just finished watching all the past episodes...gopi had to suffer a lot from the very beginning...even after ahem became nice to her, kokila still have her trouble...like cover her mouth so she can't speak...that is physical torture...and now everyone in their house is putting it on gopi to fix things...

I think this show needs to bring an element of progressive india in regards to status of women and their self respect. In the beginning, gopi was vulnerable. She thought she needed kokila and ahem to exist...but now she's seen better (hopefully)...she should not let kokila or ahem tell her off all the time in front of her daughter...does she want her daughter to be submissive like her and be treated like that by inlaws...I understand that u have to compromise to make any relationship work but u can't be abused...

in today's episode she could have told kokila that she didn't save her life as her bahu, but as a human being...she would do the same for a stranger...that would have been a good diss in koki's face

Point of my rant: they should not show that things can only be solved by taking abuse ... Gopi should get her husband and family back but at her terms and also the family's...never forget about urself girlies! Never!

Wow..can't agree more. I mean do they want to teach the public being a doormat helps?
I strongly believe that we should take a stand if we are abused unfairly, be it your Saas, husband, friend or anybody.

Well said👏

The way this is depicted right now, it looks like Gopi has to do all the donkey work and not one soul would stand up for her when she is abused.😡 Worse, they expect her to take the abuse and still fix things.

I understand that she has to compromise in her life. But there is a limit to that compromise. It works two ways. The family though expect that Gopi keep giving and not ask anything in return or assume that her stay in MM is in itself a big reward👎🏼

It is sad to see Gopi being hurt all the time by words and taunts. It is not right to show her bowing down to this abuse day in and day out and justify it as the 'ideal' DIL behavior under the circumstances. There is something called self respect🥱

Why is it that Kokila and Ahem are allowed to throw tantrums for 8 years and more running and no one cared till now but now that Gopi is back, she has to 'fix things' even if it means taking their hatred without reason?

If Kokila really means "Stay away" then she should preach what she follows. The 'Guest' at home is like God in her principles. So treat Gopi like one, not like roadside trash who can be trampled and spat on whenever the mood suits her😡

Hopefully one of the writers is reading the forum and get some sense of what we want and don't want to see...

I don't think it makes much difference😕

The writers cater to a set of audience who love to see Gopi fighting against everyone and finally winning them over. That is how it works. Someone from the PH once gave an interview saying that it is Gopi's tears that strikes a chord. So they will never let Gopi stand up tall. They will make her take even the smallest things with gratitude and move the mountain in return.

That is what an 'ideal' bahu does🤢

Personally, I want Gopi to be a strong women because in today's episode, I am still wondering whether she's going back to being the same Gopi again. I want Ahem to realize his faults and respect Gopi if they get back together.
Plus, shouldn't radha be a her home instead of Gopi's house? Why the heck is she staying despite not being married to Ahem? Hopefully her truth comes out ASAP

And there goes my dream of seeing an independent kick ass Gopi 😔. I will never get why writers seem to think that it is only Gopi's tears that bring in high trps? Tears in general will, remember Rashi's tears during the exposure track. Emotional scenes do too. How about Kokila and Ahem's tears when they realise the truth about Meera and that they will never gain back the trust of someone they have wronged. If the writers are not careful, people will hate Gopi's character for the doormat they want. Why does she have to feel that she is the one who has wronged? I want her to be selfish and say to Baa and Parag W*F should I care about fixing your family when all I get is taunts and barbs. Sort it out yourself!

I don't think gopi should try fix the relationship, if she was gonna do that then she should have stayed and fixed it in the first place. What gopi should have done is enrol vidya into a school near by and get herself a job there and continue how they lived before. Pandering to koki and ahem is not the way to go.
