They show worse things in the United States then this show and we all watch them too! I highly doubt that this should be banned anywhere...Saathiya isn't even showing anything so violent or in any sexual manner...the negativity they are showing but it's not to the point where it should even be banned from the networks in any place in the world.

Sometimes they show stupid stuff on saathiya, it's definately not in the same category as eastenders it's warped in a different way kitchen politics and how to harm people with step by step instructions. I find eastenders depressing and saathiya is just mind numbing when it doesn't have a proper storyline sometimes.

firstly its a show and i no longer live in the uk but when i do come i see bratish children who are swearing at the age of 5 onwards n they are english or black n asian so please control them first theire is no swearing on the show it just shows naughty kids who are not spoilt. As for kalakaris the world is full of evil n goodness life goes on with both.

I'm from the uk and saathiya would probably be shown as a childrens entertainment show it is so tame in comparison to what we normally get here!

Just because a show doesn't have sex or violence, it does not make it any less dangerous

When you watch one of raunchy UK/Can/USA etc shows, the message is pretty explicit..u know what you will get..there is no layers or complexity..the show has sex and violence..end of story

With a show like SNS, the message is implicit and wrapped up in layers

You have Koki, a domineering woman, who has(had) the entire household walking on eggshells out of fear..something falls and breaks..a dish doesn't taste good..all hell breaks loose...!
What message is that sending? Women should be perfect housewives?

Then you have Rashi and Urmi...who are shown incredibly selfish and successful in their missions...Essentially, hurt people you love, steal, be selfish..and you will be rolling in the dough($) like Urmi

Then you have Ahem and Jiggar...who are always at "work" and are to be served by their doting wives once they return. They are the breadwinners and therefore should be treated like their respective wives god.

Gopi - being a constant door mat for the entire house to walk over. Look where she is now? An uneducated girl teaching children!
So don't go to school cause you will find a job anyway.

Radha - Murder children. Live life large!

The CV really need to give Radha what she deserves and move this story forward..as its really frustrating to see bad people keep winning in this show

and Koki needs to stop interfering in every single teeny tiny matter in the house. Let people cook what they feel, let them eat when they feel...god I am surprised she doesn't have a key to the washroom to monitor poop breaks.

Right now Koki is all docile but it will not last for long!

The thing about SNS is that no character is perfect. Even the lead character, Gopi, was unfair in her behaviour towards Radha during the Swayam track when she used to be fond of Gopi. Kokila is dominating. Even the angelic Hetal's javadena attitude makes her less than perfect.

While the storyline hardly makes sense, in some ways it is very real. We do encounter cunning people like Rashi, egoistic person like Kokila and those who make compromises for others like Dhawal.

Like I said its good when they have proper storylines but rest the time it feels like it's going in circles.
