This considering the fact that Gopi saw Rashi referring to Radha as her servant and giving her old saris and saying they are new. I agree when Gopi says we should respect our elders, but that does not mean we should ignore all their wrongdoings and disrespect and bully those younger to us. When Gopi forgave all the endless mistakes that Rashi made from Day 1 I just thought it was because she was an innocent person who couldn't do wrong to anyone, even those who harmed her. While Radha should not have gone that far, Gopi hitting her and throwing her out of the house shows that she CAN bring the wrong-doers to book. However she chooses to be soft on Rashi and even panders to her on the pretext that she is elder. In one of the episodes in Rajpal Nagar when Kinjal says something against Rashi she gently calms her and when Radha speaks up she tells her authoritatively, "Tujhe beech mein bolne ke liye kisne kaha?".
When Radha first came, she was just like a younger version of Gopi- innocent and sincere (Jayanti bhai pointed out how she took care of Madhu ben like a mother). Infact when Urshi's kalakari was revealed to her, she didn't take any action immediately. It was only after Rashi created a rift between Gopi and Ahem (putting love letter in his lunch box)- that was the final straw.
This serial reminds me to be fair and respectful in my behaviour using only people's character as criteria, not age.
