Colors approaching Star Plus actors again for Jhalak's upcoming season; will it mark the repeat of Giaa Maanek story?

There is a saying that history repeats itself.

And it might very well prove to be the case when it comes to Colors' Jhalak Dikkhla Jaa's upcoming season.

What are we getting it?

Well, last year a lot of drama was created when Colors approached Giaa Maanek to be a part of Jhalak. Giaa back then was playing the lead in Star Plus' Saath Nibhana Saathiya.

Giaa was keen on shaking a leg or two but Star Plus was not that happy to let their lead face 'Gopi bahu' don a sexy look and dance in glory.

Result? Giaa moved out of Saathiya and lapped up Jhalak.
It was also reported that Colors did approach Hina Khan too (Akshara of Star Plus' Yeh Rishta) for Jhalak's last season and Hina was more than happy to receive the offer. But seeing Star Plus' "aggressive" reaction of showing the door to Giaa on taking up Jhalak, Hina decided to say bye bye to her dancing dreams.

Now, Colors is again believed to be approaching lead actors from Star Plus' popular shows.

One of them is Mohammad Nazim, the male lead of Saath Nibhana Saathiya.

He said while chatting with Tellychakkar.com, "Yes, I have been offered but now it is up to Star Plus to decide if I can say yes or not. Colors has asked me to get back to them in the next couple of days."

So what about Saath Nibhana? "I shall never leave the show. A reality series is around for three-four months but a daily soap stays on. I am waiting for Star Plus to take a call given the fact what happened with Giaa last year."

Well, we have also learnt that more stars from Star Plus have been/will be approached for Jhalak.

Thanks for sharing Hetal i think colours tv doing it on purpose first Giaa then Naaz i wish he should not hang with colours he can do in any of sp 😕

I think Naz is playing it smart which is good for him..it wont be very sensible of him to sour relations with SP and PH to participate in a reality show with uncertain future (since its performance based and dependent on audience votes). Whatever happens, things should not get as ugly as it got last year. TFS Hetal! 😃

Anas ie Suraj had turned down the offer , I guess Nazim will too do the same ! Why are colours doing it when they know that the actors are not allowed to!

Naaz is right reality shows are just for 2-3 months live but serials are on. Im happy with his decision or i knew Naaz have very strong bond with saathiya so he never gonna leave Saathiya on any cost.. 😊

Sounds like professional sabotage to me. Colors should not be allowed to do this. I hope that Nazim uses his head rather than his heart. He is totally correct in saying that a reality series is only 3-4 months whereas the soap that made him a household name could provide him with financial stability abit longer.

Thanks "HETAL DII" for nice article .😃 Naaz is totally Gem no doubt , he take a right decision for herself , i don't want history repeat itself... He truely know that reality show life is little , i truely want he participate in jdj but not in the cause of quiting sns...I want to see him as AHEM much more , rather then jdj ...

Colors is doing it for its own advertising and it reeks of unprofessional-ism if it is true.
Sensible decision by Nazim to let SP take the call. Two months of reality show, is not worth a more stable income and surely will not make any big change in the popularity..😊

@Muskii - I saw about Anas too. Sensible I would say.. And if I remember correctly both Sanaya and Hina rejected Jhalak for their daily soap at that time
