Treatment of Rashi

I think that Rashi is never treated fairly in the house. I know that she has made mistakes in the past but all on her mom's doing. I think that if they treated her nicely she would not make those mistakes.

If I was Rashi I do not think that I could like a jethani like Gopi because she is always treated nicely, given expense things and everybody compares her to Gopi all the time. Sometimes Rashi gets in trouble from Koki because of Gopi and Gopi never speaks up and says that it is her fault.

Don't get me wrong I like the character Gopi but sometimes her goody goody attitude just gets on my nerves.

Does anybody else feel the same way?

whilst I agree that Gopi is so goody goody that it gets frustrating I cannot agree with your view that Rashi is being harshly treated or that she follows her mum on all things. Whilst she allows her mother to side track her don't forget her past misdeeds:

1. starting a fire in the mandir that almost cost Hetal her life

2. the pressure cooker incident that targeted Kokila

3. Dipping the carrot in oil so that Gopi's hand slipped when she grated it injuring her hand so that she could not take her exam the next day and then hitting her on the same hand with the dandiya on navratri.

4. the chilli powder incident for koki which backfired on her instead.

There may be more but these are just some of the things which she executed out of her own mind. For me at least, until she steps up and takes responsibility for what she did I cannot feel that much pity for her. At times I do soften towards her but then I think back and think, nah. She needs to 'fess' up.

I do think that sometimes they r tooo hard on rashi but most of da times it is coz of own mistakes! 😳 And gopi gets on my nerves sumtimes aswel being all goody goody, but u r not wrong in ur side aswel!😊

I agree with kitkat rashis not that bad now considering how she was before and what jigar said to her about not having their baby because she wont be able to take care of the baby was really mean to say!

I do not think they are harsh on her. She is chided for her mistakes and she gets caught. She is childish most of times. Having tears for even the slightest rebuke and especially when you are wrong can generate a sense of pity for her but that does not mean Rashi deserves to be pitied. She wants that though. Rashi loves to play the victim all the time🤢

The amount of damage Rashi has done, I wonder how the Modis have actually forgiven her so quickly and that too with no rebuke. I am with Xarina on this. Her confession of her past crimes (Yes, I call them crimes. They were nothing less) is the only time she is actually be redeemed.

Rashi need not be Gopi. I find it hard to believe Gopi's goodness at times. She felt no antagonism when Savita ben actually told her that she would get lucky having a boy next time and all Gopi did was smile. That is way too goody for me. But then I think back to the harsh and cruel things she has been subjected to and I see why she keeps smiling at her tormentors. Because Rashi and Urmi made her so.

I can never agree that Urmi is the only bad person who 'made' Rashi do things. Give me a break. Rashi was devious and more cruel a lot of times even when Urmi was not involved.. Rashi has and still sometimes does do things that she knows is cruel and wrong. She emotionally blackmails people to do what she wants and uses and exploits them fully knowing the outcome. I have never once seen her feel guilty for her past actions against Gopi or any of the others. Wonder why?

Whilst Jigar was harsh, I agree with his prognosis. Rashi is not ready to be a mother. Not because she made a mistake today but because she is too much self centered and too superflous to have a child right now. Children are not ways of competition.

So no.. Rashi does not and will not deserve any pity until she truly sees the error of her ways.
