Today was all about teaching his wife to step out of her usual self of being innocent and simple. To play deceit with a person who had deceived her. The teamwork between them, including Dhaval and Urmila, makes one to want to watch the next scene more sweeter.
He let Gopi into the plan of changing RG's newspaper. For a moment as she read the newspaper it felt as though he held his breath hearing his wife read, knowing that he had been instrumental in teaching her. Just to exchange the newspaper brought about great teamwork by the three of them. The sudden distraction of RG when Dhaval crashed into his car, the swap of the newspaper, the escape of Ahem and the arrival of Gopi and Ahem to RG and Dhaval brought joy to their faces as the first plan was executed.
The next plan was to motivate the need to visit the Kathiawad Rani as RG did not take his newspaper. Gopi picked it up and read the article aloud enticing RG who in turn asked Ahem whether he knew of her. Not to miss this chance, he sensationalised the Rani getting Gopi to join in, RG was not interested. He tried another tactic by encouraging Gopi to ask for half a day off to visit the Rani, but it had to have Urmila's divisive touch to leave RG something to think about.
RG succumbed, not only to fall for the bait but his greed simply amplified from Urmila's taunt. The first sign of victory was visible on their faces, more so on Ahem's.
Smart Ahem led the way at every step in setting the trap for RG to fall hook, line and sinker. There are lesson's to be learnt out of this. One of them is how to outsmart a deceitful bully. This was in the making today with Ahem creating the brush strokes and the others colouring them.
