Well done SNS and SP🥳 This is just amazing news.
SNS has again become one of the top 3 shows this week. It is achaar magic😃

Kudos to the other teams. DABH is doing awesome and they deserve it. Will they reach 7😛 I do not know but records are there to break😉 And it was almost the same time last year or maybe a bit later that SNS broke into 7😊

👏 for the hardwork from the team. Kudos to the CVs. It looks like they know their job😛

Oh I love this 😃 my granny actually told me last night that she's loving this current track of saathiya and when I asked her what was so interesting about making and selling achaar, she just said "arey it's not the achaar! It's that chor rashi and her mother! You know *tone becomes confidential here* they are trying to steal it!"

😆

I honestly had nothing to say after that... she went on and on about how rashi is so evil she wants to spank her 😛 it makes her happy and I'm assuming it's working for other Indians too, so there 😃 ratings are the highest ever in 3 months! Wooohooo 😆

6.7 DABH?!?!? Wow, for real?? 😲 😲 I'm feeling bad about IPKKND 😔

😆.. This is exactly what Indian audience lookout for.😉
The few of us her who work from laptops are just a teeny bit of the actual audience. SNS caters to an audience from a generation or two before. It is a serial that takes them to a time when things were this way.
A strict but kind MIL, an arranged marriage, a husband who was first hateful but loving, everyday occurrences, achaar, pooja and of course the evil cousin and her mother..
Pettiness and meanness and finally indirect justice...

How many think that when Urmi let the veges burn people would have enjoyed.. I know my grandmom and yours would. You see they know how much work goes into making something in the kitchen. To them that is justice😊

I am glad for SNS and the other serials. Looks like nobody will be put of job for sometime😉 As for IPK, the TRPs will surely hold and when the wedding happens, it will increase, no doubt about it😃

Well said Harini! I think this is a common mistake. Which is why people expected that the online outrage over Giaa's exit would spill over into the real world. And wehn it didn't they were shocked and surprised.

The housewife who forms the bulk of SNS viewers watches it for entertainment. She is a busy woman and is not sitting behind a keyboard all day. She has a family and house to take care off and quite simply more important things to worry about.than an actress whom she neither knows nor cares about in real life.

That is it Ashwin and to be frank, these women are highly intelligent. If something is not to their taste they will surely discard it. But the slow upward movement in ratings show that they first were surprised and shocked then slowly started getting used to it.
Housewives move on pretty quickly to other things if they do not like a serial. All it takes is to browse the channels and pick another one that runs at 7. But what the TRPs have proved is that all that browsing led to nothing. They came back and are coming back.

SNS will not reach 7 again... But it will remain at around 3-4 in the TRPs.. And that says a lot for an almost 3 years show.

I liked Gia as Gopi. No questions there. There are 100s of posts made appreciating her work that acts as proof but I did not watch SNS only for Gia. I watched it for the story to unfold and it did. And honestly, Dev is not doing a bad job. Credit has to be given where it is due. She improves day by day. Is she the perfect Gopi? I do not think so, not yet. but she is trying hard and that shows in her improvement everyday.
The story goes good and Gopi is smiling. I like the chemistry between Dev and Naz and also her chemistry with the others though I would like to see more from GoKi. But I am watching it and I am smiling. Isn't that what entertainment is supposed to do?😛

**Edited**

Just one more point... As much as I liked Gia as Gopi, I disagree that it was just her who made SNS reach the top. It is demeaning to the other members of the cast and the crew and the creatives who made their life out of SNS. Yes.. Gia was part of that team but her leaving does not mean the remaining hardwork is demeaned.
As a team player myself, I would be indignant if someone told me that just one in my team is the reason for success. Every person plays a part and that is what Gia did. Her leaving SNS was sad but that was not the end of the world. PH and SP got someone in her place and Dev is putting in as much as effort as she can. So why bash her for just doing her job?😕

Xari, you got it😊
If only romance sells we will be having IPK at the top of the list most weeks. I rather think the conservative indian audience would see some tears, some thrill, a hint of romance at 7:00 when the kids are also out of school than a full blown romance.

Harini has that knack 😃

I can write a long laborious post and then she will come in and in a few short lines express perfectly what I was trying to say and failing 😳

Good morning folks, just woke up and it's nice see a healthy discussion is still going on 👏

Looks like DABH will beat SNS 7 rating, but like someone said records are there to be broken. I think a different generation watches shows like SNS and DABH and that core audience is made up of older people and regardless of how we (online viewers/younger generation) thinks the track might be boring/silly/not romantic enough, it still resonates with the Indian audience, probably cause of it's simplicity and showcasing a lifestyle that they are familiar with - arranged marriage, traditional family values etc.

So whatever works and congrats to both DABH & SNS cast and crew. 👏
